Good morning everyone I topped Mr. Lahey this morning. Can someone confirm they I did this right?

Bubbles (1) haven't seen much growth. However it was the experiment.

Lahey (2) I did LST on the branch last night. It couldn't even hold itself up. Now it is at least hanging so I'm guessing it's growing back to the sun.

Today is feeding day. Starting the Wk. 03 feed schedule of the FF soil trio.

Have a good one.

Just gave the girls 1 gallon of juice ph @ 7.0. I'll post some pics tonight. Time to let the sun do some work and let the plant soak in all these Nutes and sunlight.

I have already invested in the soil setup plants are growing why would I switch to hydro now? I appreciate your input but not the type of feedback I'm looking for.

Best Regards,

-sigh- ok I didn't mean specifically switch to DWC. I meant you can find better quality soil and additives that will produce overall better plants in a more controllable environment. Miracle grow will work...but not the best and good luck flushing that shit out at the end. But yeah I'd do more research and maybe not lash out when people give decent advice. You complained because there are no hydro stores in the deep South, so I suggested you look online. Peace.

Your opinion is noted.

farm is what I'll be running with soil and nutrients I think it's best to run with all the same but I'm new to this as well as you guys and everything is on a learning curve at this point

I use miracle grow too and its working great.. mixed it with perlite and peat moss .

Hey DirtBagg -- Not to run Swishaa's log into the weeds (ha!) but I'm curious if you have ever taken a pH reading from the runoff of some of your peat moss. Peat moss has a reputation for being very acidic, and the nursery tomato that I got that was potted in peat moss still has runoff in the 4's after months of watering with both pure water and pH 6-ish nutes. Just curious...

Yup, looks right to me. Chopping the tops off of plants (or for that matter, even just plucking off leaves) always feels kinda wrong. But we are farmers who must manage their crops! ;)
I topped mine down a couple nodes this morning and felt like crying after I did lol but it had to be done

I spilled juice on this leaf a little bit and this is the leaf I did LST too. What does this look like to y'all? This is on Mr. Lahey?

Yeah it's been between 6 and 7. And I don't use loads of Pete moss only 10 percent 30 perlite and rest soil from wallyworld

What always surprises and pleases me is how quickly a healthy plant responds to pruning, sometimes within a matter of hours.

"Someone cut off my head? Time to redirect resources!" ;)
As soon as I cut the top off it started wilting in my hands not sure if that's a good sign or a bad sign
