Urban Achievers Inner City Seeds of Promise

Thank you ECG, a few thoughts whipped through my brain when I saw the leaves blackened, but then I relaxed and figured it was a combination of the cooler temperatures and the natural physical changes the plant is undergoing.

I dont know how buds grow so I wont get concerned, but the bud development seems weird and patchy, and I was just curious if that is the normal plant physiology. Must be. The area between bud and stalk and other buds must fill in soon.
They will fill in and cola up, depends on how node spacing is on how much of the branches cola up. Whatever don't cola up will still have nice popcorn chunks I call them lol. ..️

I hoped that was the case.

lol I think the best thing you folks have done for me in this journal is saved me hours of panic and days of paranoia about if the plants are ok. I need to put a sign up on the way out of the grow area that says “They are fine. Relax.”

Well the good news is I have an update. The bad news is its not quite what I was hoping for. At least I got to play around with the new camera. It is going to take some getting used to.

Seems the new camera's files are not compatable with my old software. So these photos are not edited. May have trimmed a few but most are as shot. That really messed with my workflow. I will need to figure out a quick and easy way to upload/view/choose the images I want to keep.

Congrats! New Gear!!!! Doubler?

Yeah I bought a new Canon D80 camera body and a 40mm lens to add to my existing lineup of lenses. I was long overdue to upgrade my camera. Now I just need to get familiar with it. Wont see a huge difference on the journal because 420 resizes or compresses the images but I see a difference on my computer.

But I am excited lol. Just in time for the colour changes and final stages of flowering.

Hey there UA ... congrats on the camera. We are all living on a learning curve ... you will get it worked out just like the little green gals in the flower room! I actually think those pics look super awesome... sometimes less work = works out.

How did they respond to the aloe and coconut water treat??

I like to foiler that on... instant happiness all around! I'm in deprivation mode here... keeping all the candy away from the ladies. They are too big, fat and frustrated ... been having too much fun without me.

Your buds will stack up.. I've had them do that AFTER I was about to chop them.. sometimes a wave of the lopper is all it takes!

Firm love... and a helping hand.

It's going to happen... Cheers to to a prosperous and happy healthy new years.

Thanks BoBrown14, been a lot of fun playing around, this new camera is going to shine this summer when I go back to work.

I will eventually get the right combination of settings to make them look good on the 420 website. Less may actually be more. I will be going home at midnight and busting out the camera.

As for the aloe and coconut water it's tough to say. There have been no visual indicators of anything bad happening. I suspect it's given them a boost.

Pretty exciting time. The colours and smells are killer. That's the one thing I can say these photos are capturing...the colours look awesome.

Just dragged myself from the tent. They are looking pretty good thats for sure. The white widow got a drink as she makes quick work of what I can saturate in the 1 gallon geopot. She is putting on a few dense nuggets of goodness but its in a corner now. She is on her own.

Spent some time playing with the camera. Loving it more and more as I go. Even the sound of the shutter is beautiful. I snapped some nice shots of the green crack 3 & 4. A few more of the amazing changes the blue dream are going through. At least I think I did. Gotta check on the computer tomorrow. But I am 83% certain there are a few decent photos. 10% error for being high. 7% chance I am blind and all the decent shots are out of focus.

Bit of a bummer, but I am going to miss my delivery of Bruce Banner and Green Crack due to a dentist check up, I will have to pick it up from the drug store/post office like some heathen lol. I get a kick out of picking up my drugs from a drug store.

I am really excited about trying the green crack. Loved the blue dream. Right about now I am feeling the “bummer man” moment for not taking cuttings of these. But I still have at least 1 feminized seed each of the strains so its not all bad...but that Green Cush#4 is going to be a missed opportunity.

Ok thats it. Feels weird without something to look at...

...until tomorrow cannabis comrades

Nice pics of a nice looking plant dude! I need a nice camera lol

Well the real star in my camera gear are the lenses. My main two lenses were both twice as expensive as my camera. It's more important to have quality glass. The kit lenses that come with these cameras are usually crap (18-55). Work well enough though.

“I see you rolled you way into the Semi’s. Dios mios man. Liam and me?... we’re gonna fu** you up.”

‘Yeah, well, thats just, like, you’re opinion man.’

Well have I got an update for you folks. This will be my largest photo update yet. I kept a few of the best ones for a future post. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do.

I appreciate everyone who wanders in or pops by. Your positivity is fuel for which the world should run by. This is seriously my only social media outlet. No FB, No IG, no nothing. Its been a few years without them. My life has been filled with positivity because of it. Then add this community to that vibe. Its incredible. You folks being generally honest and kind to each other is truly something that needs to spread like a viral infection.

A ton of things always enter my brain when taking these photos. Stuff I want to mention or talk about here but I can never remember when its time to write the update lol.

- Look for the colour variances between green cush 3 and 4.

- Some lower fan leaf fade is beginning

- blue dream has some incredible colours going on. these photos barely do it justice.

- most of these photos are just cropped, no editing or touching up

- the green crack smells amazing. Fruity. I keep looking at it and thinking or smelling about fruity pebbles or rainbow angel food cake. I seriously cant wait to taste this. Or smell it curing even.

- couple heavy leaners. Product of the earlier lst and scrog. Lesson learned. I like the shape and strength of Green Cush 3, the topped plant

Please avoid quoting this entire post lol, 20+ photos, makes for hard reading.

Wow now that’s some beauty! The BD looks amazing dude! Your garden looks terrific today, my friend and I only look forward to what tomorrow may bring! Keep up the good work brother, it’s a good remedy for my cottonmouth!

Thanks Growchy! Yeah they are really starting to show off now. Makes me giddy to think that each round in the soil only gets better.

Hey urban what kind of lights are you isn’t? How far away are they?

Garden looks nice and healthy but I see a little bit of stretch in some of the buds. Makes me wonder if your lighting is too far away from the plants.

I am using Fusion Pro 400W COB’s. The lights use bridgelux 20W COB’s and I think there are 20 of them. They are sitting at around 18-24”s. Above the tops. I think most of the stretch is in the Green Cush. It may be the strain, it may be because I rotate and change them around, or it may be the untested lights. They are showing quite a bit of Sativa qualities and have stretched quite a bit. I dunno.
