well today's update is being typed a whole lot earlier than yesterdays, lol

pic was taken right about the same if I recollect, shortly after lights on.

and today I can say I am a proud papa!!! lmfao

she has started her vertical growth above the coty's. wooowooooooo. makes me happy.

I was more than a little worried that I pooched her up, taking the wool away so soon, but I didn't want to end up tearing roots. I saw in my buddies aero, the wool can cause bad stem rot, ending up with girls laying down hard. so that was my deciding factor in pulling the wool out from under her skirt lol.

also had slight anxiety with giving her nutes so early, even at half strength. just as my new tds crapped out.

but alas, not to worry, she is enjoying her time in the sun with some bubbly.

can you believe I already got my replacement tds in the mail today? holy fawk, in just 8 days, ordered, rec'vd, return, rec'vd. me likey.

here's todays stats:

tent was cool last night at 68 so I upped the ac to 70.

today we see: T--74....RH--47....PH--7.4(up a bit)...PPM--274...H2OT--19.5c(67.1f)

annnnnd the glorious pic showing some vertical growth(I know, hard to see it) but I see it as soon as I opened the tent. hehehe

and also, don't mind the bright smudge on the leaf, she musta been splashing around just before I went in the tent and had a drop of water on her, so I smooshed it off. but the led tells all eh.

time for a bucket change tomorrow. that's gonna be her first.

full strength week 1 veg nutes added. on day 19.

Looking good . how big is res for your little princess ? Might I recommend Hydrogaurd , it keeps the root zone happy :)
 
thanks birdie and no pain.....that's ironic, that is exactly why I couldn't sleep...too much pain. lmao

it is a 5 gallon bucket dwc. never used hydrogaurd before or read up on it for that matter. is it basically h2o2? haven't used that either for that matter, but this is my first personal hydro project. for the most part, my nute lineup has everything in their brand, so if I do use another additive, it would likely be from the same family.

Yes it's all about having fun! No hydroguard is beneficial root bacteria . Definitely read up on it . This is my first time using it as it was recommended to me at the beginning of my grow and I have seen very positive results with it. My nute line doesn't offer anything like it.

5 gal . Gotcha .. I was asking because of the ph swing that you had with that little lady . IMHO with that much solution for that princess , it's odd to have that kinda swing in ph . I.e my system I have a 6 gal res that feeds all 4 of my babies . I start off with a ph of 5.8 and when I go to top it off ( about every 4 days I add 3-4 gal) my ph might be around 6.4 . I use gen hydro flora series nutes & cal/mag with their ph down (very little needed )and hydroguard in purified water .
 
PH swing huh.....had to go back and look for it tbh. lol. I don't recall if I topped up that day or not. I might have. I will read some on that hydrogaurd for sure.

day 20 here and all's well. well, the res temp is up a bit. got some bottles freezing for tomorrows spike.

the stats: T: 76.8....RH: 50....PH: 6.3....REST: 22.0....PPM: 562

been watching your rdwc, cuz if I like this, I may change to rdwc in my tent. less plants but bigger eh.

I do know now that I got her into the dwc too sonn, but oh well, shes healthy.
