I'm currently mid grow since i grow perpetual but I want to document my monthly harvests for the 420 community to enjoy and for me to have a reference to look back on. I'm always focused on improving my grows and have experienced a few issues in the past but everything is running really smooth now and I have some time to keep this journal going so let's get started with the Veg tent first

My goal is to hit 8oz a month or more and I've been achieving almost 10 lately but to keep this rotation going I need a veg tent to pump out flower ready plants.

The Veg tent is a 4x2 and is only 4 feet tall and runs a 4 bulb t5. It's home to a cloning dome that holds all my cuttings and young plants. I keep a single bulb 2 foot t5 light above this dome and have been successful at keeping plants in this spot for up to 2 months in a attempt to save genetics. The small t5 promotes slow growth

The next batch of ladies to hit flowering will be 3 CKS Blueberry plants from regular seeds so these could end up male. I also have 3 Purple Orka Cookies from mishap with unstable genetics but the cross sounded so good I decided to give them a shot. They may hermie but I'm hoping the Urkle stabilized them. Only time will tell

The Flowering tent is a 4x4x7 with a 600watt HPS. We have plants at different stages in here. We have 4 Purple Urkles and one Blackberry at 6 weeks. The Urkles will gor for 9 weeks and the BlackBerry will go for 10.

Her we have the batch that just Hit flowering. Two Orka Cookie #5s and 3 Birthday Cakes. The Orka Cookie pic is day 1 of flowering and the Birthday cake has been in for a week.

I do love a perpetual grow and it's something I'm currently looking into myself so I'll tag along and see how it's all done, you clearly know your stuff pulling 10oz a month so I'm subbed .

Nice frosty piece of candy.. Interesting,, I've got some of the CKS Blueberry myself. I've never tried any of their seeds yet.. I also bought a bunch of their autos to try outside this year. Garden looks nice...

The blueberry I ran was a pain.. I think she's was a light feeder and I over did it. She also took almost 3 weeks to start flowering. 11 week strain easy.. rock hard nugs but mine had a very faint smell.. I would love to see you do what I couldn't, grow a bad ass blueberry..

It is pretty difficult knowing where to start but you're in a great place to find out. Twox has some brilliant posts about his setup and it's a great one to emulate. He's got posts showing his full setup (page 14 and 25 I think) so check them out.

Either you're a Virgo and will try to plan out everything perfectly straight up or like other people have mentioned you'll build and evolve as you go. There's always more stuff to get. It's a great hobby but it doesn't stop.

Never ever, ever, ever.. I wish I would have went bigger.. I've been looking at a 6x4.. weird size but it always be nice to have that extra 2ft, and another light, and a clone tent, and a drying tent, maybe a male tent, a bigger veg tent, a warehouse. Lol.

Me too... My dreams are bigger than my grow space... I'm telling you, we need a warehouse... even if it only had one light and one tent, at least we would have the extra space to play with..

Life seems so busy sometimes.. I got 2 hours of sleep last night but the garden comes first.. Tomorrow I'll cut some clones, move some TrapStars to flower and uppot some younger plants. I can't decide what I want to grow next, it will probably be a batch of clones but I've been thinking about popping a bunch of random seeds.


Here's my only Purple Urkle in flower. She has atleast a week left. I'll probably stash this plant in my personal smoke vault while we smoke this Bday Cake.

Here's a couple pics of my Candy Urkle cross.. All my strains seem to have there specific traits and this one has a few that really shine to me. My purple Urkle is a super slow vegger, Bday Cake is floppy and needs a ton of training, but these ladies seems to be doing everything right. Fast clones, fast veg, fast to start flowering, medium stretch, strong side branching, nice node spacing and sturdy as can be. I have a single poll keeping one of them straight and theres no supports on her side branching. She's also dense and fruity with a nice lush trichome covering. my second run with her is already looking better than the first so these two ladies are getting tons of love.. I can't wait to see her cola fully developed.:circle-of-love:

I pulled these ladies out to prep them for harvest but I noticed some powdery mold on her lower leaves and decided to harvest her. I gave her a bath with some hydrogen peroxide and water to kill any spores, fan dried her and harvested. In retrospect I should have just removed the infected leaves but I really didn't want to risk my ladies. I vent my drying tub into my tents and having pm on my buds would have sprwad it to everything in my grow.. not on my watch. We had a heavy rain at the end of May that I think was the cause... I'm use to some dry summers and this weather keeps catching me with my pants down.. we live and we learn..

Shoot sucks about that mold hopefully didnt get on the buds yet.. smart to wash anyways and harvest early to avoid spreading it. Exactly what i was worried about we had a lot of rain as well.. we grow indoors but mother nature still effects us. Your ladies look really nice man.. but what is with those tall lanky bitches... that is so weird especially the g13 like wtf man thats the strangest growth I've seen.. tell that bitch to quit growing so tall lol

Seeing the mold sucked... I should have known better than to let my Birthday cakes flop all over each other.. I vegged these ladies for a good two months bending and forcing growth so I should have a nice yield and don't want to let a little mold spoil that for me. I'll pay them a little more attention next time..

All the OG13s look the same and there shuved up against the back wall with my funky Envy.. they should have been vegged into a multi topped bush to make up for the lack of side branching. If I didn't break there tops they would have got the light. Not my kinda plants and I'm contiplating killing off there clones. Thank goodness I have 2 Urkle candys to help make up for the lack of bud these OGs might produce.
 
Its ok bud shit happens and it wasnt totally your fault, if you have a good dehumidifier on hand it could have helped.. those damn things are expensive. I know what you mean about a long veg time, i vegged my ladies 12 weeks so i know how you feel about the extra time and effort. I hope it will still be some quality smoke for you man. Next time you will be on top of it for sure! Yea man i would get rid of the clones those genetics are funky.
 
Could those long lanky plants be plants that should be LST'd or supercropped instead of just topped? It looks like you topped atleast once but they grew straight up, so if you LST'd that could branch them out more so they'd be wider instead of tall and skinny. If they're good smoke you could train the crap out of them next time and see what you get. Just a thought. Otherwise toss 'em cause you seem to have plenty of seeds and new genetics to try.
 
Damn, that one PE is growing like bamboo. Not good. I definitely have 2 phenos as well. One looking very sativa like to me. Can't tell her apart from the Strawberry Amnesia. Hope she doesn't have mad stretch like yours. I will have to keep an eye on her. She will be supercropped if she starts behaving like that.
