Twnewell's First Grow

I know I’m random, love to learn new stuff, @Emilya ,in your diy cal/mag with eggshells what do you think the shelf life would be? Is there any sense of making a large batch and keeping it for a while? Or would it be better to make it as you need it?
I am finding that it lasts around 6-8 months at room temp, not sure it goes bad keeping it in the fridge. If I open the bottle and it has developed a rank smell, out it goes. Bad smell is associated with anaerobic bacteria, and not many of them are good for our gardens.

Just some closeups of possible sex organs. If they are called organs. I’ll look it up for the proper name.

Just the remainder of the picks I took. Should be able to tell in another 2 or 3 days. I’m so excited to find out.

Holes in bottom.....check .. got three there.... I only water every three days and only if the pencil is dry which it was... don’t know what else could be going wrong... other plants are just fine with same watering schedule.??

Oh, and nice to meet you Sis! :)

Repotting will have to have helped... now lets let it dry out all the way to the bottom... probably for the first time in its poor waterlogged life. The roots have to dry out at the bottom each time between waterings... a set 3 day schedule can be doom for a weed.
Your plant is trying hard to throw off all the water... it is in full transpiration mode, trying to expand the surface area of the leaves as much as possible so as to use the water in that lake it is sitting in. The down-turned puffy leaves are showing that there is distress, instead of pointing at the sun they are pointing at the roots.
Let her dry out now for 3-5 days... Don't water again until that container feels as light as container of brand new dry soil. The whole look of the plant can change in these 3-5 days, or you can keep your normal way of watering every 3 days, keep that water table (wet/dry line) above the bottom roots, and this plant will continue to suffer.
Runoff is absolutely inconsequential. It is meaningless and a waste of time to measure. Just make sure that every fluid that hits your soil is pH adjusted to the low end of the 6.3-6.8 usable range in soil, and all will be fine. And yes... dry as the Sahara. :) You will think you are killing your plant... but be patient, and don't freak unless she does. If she wilts, water her.. but I am betting she won't before you can no longer stand it and water at some point earlier than I am advising. I wrote a little piece on this SabbyDoo... you should read it.
