Twelve12's Breeding Program

I have 1 600w in a 6'x6'x8' with one osc fan. My vent system is set up with a vent hole in the wall that is filtered. I have a charcoal filter that sets on the floor with the ducting hooked to it that leads up to the light. The light is connected to the fan which draws all the air out of the room and pushes it outside. So far it has worked excellent. Do any of you think I have missed something vital? I do have another in line fan but I wasn't sure if I should mount it to the room intake or not. What do you think? PS, meds are just right tonight, LOL. Peace

hey 12 brodude well i have to work in the realm of 400hps 2 600s not possible for me now, im lucky to get the 400! i dont really need max yield for spiffy and i, and a lil' breeding, im thinking medium sized, and hope or the best:high-five: i thank you for your input its a big helpyou da man!:thumb:

Hey BID, use 2 gallon pots and veg till they have some branching but are still short. You want to fill 1 sq foot with each plant.

Hey LI, I would hang the filter up high to grab any hot air (outside the light enclosure), no point in removing the cool air near the floor. Unless you need the heat this time of year.

Lord Indica ~ Yep, like 0G13 mentioned, have the filter up high to remove the heat while the bottom has cooler air unless you need the heat to warm up the room during this time of the year. You can use another inline fan if you think the room needs more fresh C02. Otherwise, the pulling from the exhaust should have some passive intake, with the osculating fan going it should be good.

bigirishdoode ~ 400w will work great. Gotta use what you have.

OG13 ~ Good advice.

Got a few more strains for the Subzero collection (ATA Tundra male pollination) then it should warp up the 2nd run. I'll germinate these in a month still waiting for the veg room to free up some.

jandre2k3 ~ Yes, very interesting indeed. And no seed is alike.

Mark30g ~ Thank you. I'm starting to see some amazing results from the cross. Just have to grow more to see more. So far so good. The Cheese is from Dinafem and ATA Tundra is from seedsman and they are available at many retail seed banks. My work is to cross the two together and form Cheesecake which is currently not available for the public. Once I find the winning female I'll stabilize it and try to make the seeds available to the world.

Okay those seeds just blow me away not only are they a peak into the unknown but man are they beautiful! I can't hold it in any longer my wife let me open a christmas gift and because I bragged about 12's microscope she got me the celestron 34340 biological microscope. Talk about turning the lights on! I was blown away at the trichomes on my current white widow smoke. Just thought I would share, sorry for being off topic but I get this way when i get excited. LOL Have an awesome day everyone and awesome post 12.:circle-of-love:

Thanks everyone for the input. Right now we are still using the AC lol. Room stays between 75 and 81 RH of 50-66%. :thanks:

I'll have to check out Dinafem as once I've purchased a new Extractor fan I'll be investing in a cheese strain. As i absolutely love:adore: it,also that Cheisel sounds good to, As Deisel is on my second list to purchase lol. I think what your doing is absolutely Amazing it sounds really good to cross your favourable strains together would be so good but i bet it is hard tho and i got enuf praise for you doing so as one could only imagine what's involved in the process of it all. Also can you recommend any decent but very quite Extractor Fans my tent is 1m2 square and 1.6height my light is 600Hps son t agro id be most appreciative of it Thank you.:thanks: :goodjob: and happy growing to all :peace:

Lord Indica ~ I think there's a way to tell the future of the plant just by looking at the seeds. So right now I'l doing my best to document them for further studying. The shape, color, patters, size, and weight may tell if the strain is sativa/indica mix/pure, potency cap, flowering time, etc...that way when we get "bagseeds" we can plan ahead to accommodate the growth. It may not have any connection but not documenting it we'll have zero chance at finding anything useful. Glad you enjoy them.

The celestron is a good one, I heard, let me know how you like it. Post up some macro shots to get an idea of its quality.

Mark30g ~ What you like about the Cheese strain? What if the strain have the name cheese somewhere in the name would it still consider a cheese strain to you? Just curious. Not sure what I like yet, but Lemon and Pineapple flavor is my favorite.

Actually, breeding is quite easy. The hard part is finding time and be organize, haha. If you really want to do something in life and is passionate enough you'll find ways.

Extractor fan meaning exhaust fan? With your grow space a 4in inline fan will be great. Hook that up to a carbon filter and you got yourself a professional ventilation setup that can handle the 600w.

Strain Profile: Firestorm @ 55 days in bloom

She's 1/3 done, going for the stretch! No, not growths stretch the other stretch. Just want to do a recap on this strain, Firestorm (Pineapple Express from G13 labs x Grapefruit Diesel from Dinafem). I really like the Pineapple Express just recently got it dialed in even if I successfully stabilized Firestorm I'll still grow PE. I have not had the pleasure to grow the Grapefruit Diesel got a male instead, so that's how my breeding program got started.

This is the first cross that made it this far and the buds are developing beautifully. I'll shoot more of her in the final week. Out trich her mother, frost on the top and bottom of the leaves, compact and dense buds, floral smell, can't wait for the taste and fly.

Got the Black Domina male pollinated with a few of the available females which are under 4 weeks in bloom. The rest of the females are about to finish up in few weeks don't want to pollinate those. Mean while I've already sprout a few of the new cross; Pineapple Smoothie, Ice Age, Frozen Amazon, and Pule.

Ice Age, Frozen Amazon"" I bet those are gonna be bad ass man! I can't wait to see them. I love those white strains of indica. They take away my pain and the only side effect is being hungry and couch locked lol. :adore:
