Beginning of week 6

Nice part of a slow journal you get to see all the pictures back to back.

Flowers are starting to build. I'll take some more in a few minutes here when the kiddos go down for nap.

Blessing of the Jeeps was great, our trip was a disaster, my heep is still down. Didn't take a ton of pictures but this MJ was my favorite personal rig there.

Everybody is a little wilty for photos, they got a thorough soaking and filled the reservoirs this morning. I just drained the reservoirs back out, I think there's a lot more roots in there now. I have been able to leave 2 inches of water in the bottom without appearing to waterlog the roots. Could just be from the drenching though.

Kush Ryder being all spindly like.
Girls got roots though. Check out that GWS in action! Fuzzy A$$ roots busting out the pot all over.

We're getting there!

Some pictures of the girls today. I actually neglected them in the name of science for like a week. I needed to know if the reservoirs were going to work in the event of an extended absence. Plants survived just fine. Didn't thrive by any means. But still kicking.

Everybody is making flowers. Should see some good stuff soon with the feeding last night.

This Afghan Kush Ryder doesn't care for the heat, or a moist medium. The rest are more or less happy. She has developed a bit of a deficiency as well. I bumped up the cal mag and PK with the watering last night. I almost think I may have pulled back on the N a little too much. That's why it's a test run right? Haha.

The next generation waiting on Deck.

End of Week 8
Don't hate me for how I've treated these plants. There's a reason the free seeds were the first run. I've been playing with the environment and had the light screens back up long story short they've been subjected to some heat stress since I added the last board. I pulled the light back up and took the light screens down. Without further ado a few shots of the slightly raggedy looking ladies today.

The ladies don't always look terrible.

These spots have started showing on 3 different plants now. Heat? Or is it a deficiency?

I could be wrong. Hard to tell from my tiny phone screen. Hopefully this helps

Thanks I went through that chart and a couple other ones and a few write-ups yesterday when it started on the first plant. The brown I'm pretty sure is phosphorus, also have red petioles.

The white chunks are what I can't figure out. They're relatively angular shaped and an off white to bleach white color. They appear to be starving but I'm feeding at 900ppm which is almost as high as I run my photos. I'm stumped

To the best of my ability yes. Checked in medium and low calibration fluid against paper strips.
I feed at 6.3-6.7 usually 6.5. I haven't done a slurry test yet. The purpling on the leaf edges looks like molybdenum, but also looks like early autumnal coloring from the plant not drinking enough to keep itself cool. They had a cooler day today at 77°f leaf temps but they are struggling to cool themselves, they usually sit 3-4° below ambient, the last few days have been equal to ambient. Maybe I'll mix up a fresh batch and increase the Cal mag. The roots in the reservoirs may be too dry.
