Turbo-Closet Test Run - Autos - Boards & Pro-Mix HP

Beginning of Week 5

Girls bounced back pretty well so I gave them another trim and a bunch more ties.

Only had one casualty, I considered topping it just past that node and decided to bend it instead. D'oh! Oh well there's a few more left still haha.

Bit of a photo dump from this morning. They all seem healthy. Still quite compact and could use a haircut.

Blessing of the Jeeps is this weekend so I'm a little preoccupied in the garage lately. Hope y'all have a good weekend.

Had to look it up, blessing of the jeep. Man that event looks like fun! Always wanted to go to king of the hammers here in socal. 06 TJ over here. :ciao:(jeep wave) once the jeep is better setup it'll be adventure time.

Plants are looking gorgeous TB!! Have fun working on your rig and at the event. Crack a cold one for me.

:ciao:(jeepwave)

I have a 99 xj and the wife has an 03wj. Ofc the xj decided to start the death wobble shit last week so it may be a one Jeep trip. Last year was awesome, cold and windy, still had around 2000 Jeeps. I wanted to put mine on the course this year... Oh well that's Jeepin' eh?

Oh i know how that goes. I swear there are some elves that come around between oil changes and loosen all the bolts in my steering. Some time before my oil change my steering gets sloppy and ill get a bang noise when i turn. Before i didnt realize what was happening and i ended up with the DW. Now i have my mechanic tighten everything up on the bottom when i tske it for oil. I think this time ill have him put on some lock tight. I'll be switching coils from fabtech 4" to metal cloak 3.5, so it'llbe a good time to take everything apart. My tires were unbalanced and the play in the front end would start DW.

Try tightening up yiur bolts if you haven't and if you still get DW then it's a possibility that hole for the bolt was made bigger (wallowed out) by the play in the bolt. If that's the case i know some weld a washer to make the hole the proper size again.

The wallowed out trackbar seems to be a thing with the xjs and the wranglers. Google "xj wallowed out track bar" hope this helps

Sorry for the car related high jack, TB needs his XJ for blessing of the jeep fest!!

I picked up the kit from KOR with a 9/16 bolt and super hard bushing to anchor the double shear track bar. I can "feel" it in the passenger side more and it's not an all the time thing. My control arm bushings are shot and I'm thinking they have started to wallow out the uppers a little bit.

Just firing up the grill for a pork tenderloin so hopefully I'll get a chance to tear it down further.
