Turbo Bucket's Take On RADDWC: Grow Room Build-Up

when you switch to coco from promix are you going to drop your ph?
The Coco was just the starter plug for cloners. I want to build a recirculating Dewey aeroponic system but I'm running on essentially no budget currently so I think it will be another run in pro mix. It's cheap, available locally and I'm familiar with it. Yes in Coco I would run a much lower pH.

I have been mulling the pH thing over a bit since reading of others having success at lower pH values and I have to say it has me intrigued to say the least. I think, and this is just a thought, but the more aerated your pro mix structure is (i.e. added perlite, Coco chunks, gro stones etc..) the closer to hydro it will act.

These are the charts I tend to reference.

I've actually been doing better at hydro with chelated nutrients and slightly higher ph levels. With chelated nutes and ph running around 6.5 it's smooth sailing

Right here is the man to ask about Coco pH Bear.

On the whole chelation thing. I understand the basic principal of increased availability but how does one identify chelated products from non. Does it only apply to chemical ferts as opposed to natural/organic based. I feel like I'm still missing part of the picture.

Beautiful buds turbo! Not sure but AN has a whole new organic line. Chelated just means they are more readily avalible at the roots and have a wider range in which they can be absorbed I believe

I've looked into my nutes a little bit more since Furci brought it up awhile back and didn't find much. I know they are a little different than most bc they are the whole naturally organically derived deal. Ingredients list is fish meal, composted seabird guano, kelp, rock phosphate etc.. I'll pop by some of his stuff and pick his brain on nutrient availability.

They look pretty close to popping. Seriously swelling. Looks so absolutely gorgeous TB! The colors are wonderful.
Thanks Grandpa! Not positive what the source of the purpling is yet, seems to be a correlation between the vertical location of the branch on the plant and it's light exposure. Night temps only get down to around 68 in there and it's neither uniform nor isolated enough that i would expect it to be temperature related. Some of the colors seem like a copper deficiency but they do like cool.
