Looks like the pollen took on this Barbie bud.
This tent is full of "bar nugs" fuckin stacked but not much to look at, best viewed in low light under the influence, still capable of producing a good time. Haha

It's not an easy task. I've considered it several times but it's going to make a mess of everything in between. It's crispy. They've only got a couple weeks left. It's driving me crazy though.
I guess I could try cutting part of it off and see how it goes.

I can see why you hesitate over it, always the risk of messing things up when one starts to swing in a tight tent. Almost popped one plant out of the autopot when lifting her this winter, it was that tall Kali's I had.

Making some ethanol concentrate tonight. The source material was the leftover pucks from pressing hash into rosin. Always some tasty dabs out of that.
Getting closer
One of the trade offs using ethanol vs other solvent sources is that it picks up chlorophyll, the silver lining to that is it also picks up anthocyanin, the "purple" in purple strains, and other yummy/colorful plant compounds that are above my pay grade haha.
By using good quality 4*+ hash you're eliminating any plant material that contains chlorophyll so you don't have to worry about it. You can let it soak for as long as you'd like so you get good absorption on the first run compared to doing QWET with buds/trim.

Im glad a few of them have pulled through, even got a couple late additions coming up.

I really like making it from hash. I know tons of people do it from buds but I feel like the end result is way better with hash. Plus with hash you can use live material, can't press fresh nugs.
I don't even have a big press yet. I still just use an old hair straightener, you don't have to have one when using hash. I get a 50% return so it's pretty good. But I'm planning to upgrade at some point. Mainly just for bigger plates and the availability of filter bags.
Site sponsor dabpress makes some nice equipment for the best prices I've found around. I'm planning to grab a 10ton tabletop when I can afford it.

Raw paper and a 10 TON DAB press will do ya for personal use ..circular pre press works better than the 3x5 that comes with the unit ...and a c clamp is important ..most use resin bags ..I have them but rarely use them
.my only buyers regret is not getting a dab press to begin with ...I rarely pump over 2 thousand on the air gauge ..I can feel the plates which for me was a feat because there is a learning curve . So I recommen manual vs. Auto press
Grandpa token has a resin thread with pretty much anything and everything I can offer
