Tunes420 600 w KC-33/Bud Lady

Srry dude mt pc is down so I HATE LAPTOPS. Hense my posts are down for a second or two. We'll work on that trial soon. I'm waiting to see what the next seed I get is. Should be a week, or two. My 'Old Lady' ordered some so I gotta wait to see what they are. They might be a better strain for our little 'Trip'. Lates

Update ....Ladies are doing good....i have fine tuned most...was off on nukes and light was too close for awhile ...but think i have it all tuned in now....Just bought some beastie bloom and will be getting some cha ching soon too. Bought some no frills hydroponic nukes and almost killed all my plants....so spending money on some good nukes. Still got my orchard bloom for early veg :) Those nukes been good to me....But i know with new light i really need to fine tune my nukes and stuff as much in them as they can drink to get max results

It's a Girl! 14 days 12/12

TY Wood bro...will be nice growing side by side with a seasoned grower like yourself :passitleft:

Ok all Update above got me looking at new girl and she was wilting a bit so i transplanted her...sure enough she was root bound and had beginning of root rot...so took out damaged part and transplanted to new style dish pans..and gave it peroxide solution to repair roots...great part about these pans is if ya need to transplant you just add a pan under it with more grow medium and root will go threw holes from top into new medium below....right now have roots on one plant in nukes in lower pan with air stones
...and can easily put pan under it with new medium if i see things becoming anything but white :smokin:

hi mate so she was drooping....you new something was a miss........you decided to transplant and she was root bound...............great work there mate...to spot it and correct it....+ reps mate good on yea..............be lucky weedtastic........is that mona lisa ? girl...........it don t look like her ?

:thanks: Weed mate...For the rest of The journal This plant will be know as Mona Lisa ...weedtastic came up with the fitting name for her....I say Her cause i have seen pre flowers but have a clone of Her in flower room and waiting to be 100 % sure. This plants structure is like none other i have grown...it is a work of art how it grows....on it's own Mona Lisa has not been trained with my wires....she's all natural :cheer: I did top her once :)
IMG_06352.JPG

Here she is in her own light dome :smokin:
All the other plants have to share lights

Mona Lisa is 6 weeks old
I took two more clones from her i am in process of rooting now
IMG_0621.JPG

Mona Lisa is in a 18 quart plastic dish pan....but with her being so full/bushy i knew she would need more room...so bottom of pan has 1/4 inch holes and one area i cut out 1"x3" and put rockwool on bottom of pan to hold in most of perlite....When I am able to i will be getting more hydroton.....and do away with perlite in future grows....had a big bag and wanted to use it....all gone now....anyway....right now roots are growing threw bottom to lower pan that has nukes in it....if i need to i can always fill another pan with medium/hydroton and sit top right into it and roots will work there way into new pan.....and it would drain to a third pan :smokin:
IMG_06312.JPG

and in nukes i have a couple bubble stones and ph 5.5
IMG_06343.JPG

change nukes every few days cause of white pans not being light tight they start to get green on top of pan where nuke level is

Mona Lisa... What a Figure on you! Plump and Full... all Natural!;) Nice growin' Tunes420! In Fact all plants look Great! You are dialed in my friend! Got that medium and those nutes WORKIN'!:goodjob:

OK update....took this plant back to veg
IMG_05901.JPG

unless i do a sea of green with lots of small clones i think i will start vegging much longer....Now lady below (90% sure) has been in veg for 6 weeks...if she doubles in size .....nice....if she triples in size wow :yummy: but either way have KC-33 plants that need the light to do there thing more than plant that is more than ready for flower room :grinjoint: so put this plant in flower room today.... Mona Lisa!
IMG_06221.JPG

this plant below is ugly and not sure if i will waste space in flower room any longer...i don't have anything else that needs to come up for a while so will see if she perks up....She is bagseed so is gone in a heart beat if she don't show some signs of improvement...she is sick looking ....hope transplant helps.....

One i planted in self watering pot has me wondering if that one isn't root bound as well with leafs all curling up

IMG_0595.JPG

I've seen people grow nice plants in hempy buckets as small as one gallon.

Interesting question as to whether a plant can get root-bound in a soil-less medium even if given adequate water and nutes.

Hopin' you're having a green day!

Everything I've read says that plants don't get rootbound easily in Hempy's. Apparently the roots don't have to work very hard to get a drink, due to the reservoir at the bottom of the pot.

I think this is true....one of my larger plants is starting to lean. The stem is thick, the branches are strong, the leaves are large and green, and I counted 23 bud sites this morning, but it appears the root structure is such that it isn't stabilizing the plant as well as it would in soil. It sure ain't rootbound!

:thanks: Gentlemen...that ugly one was probably only in 1/2 gallon and i think pot itself trapped nukes that rotted some of roots. Let me ask you this....what is another reason for curling of leaves on just that single plant in self watering pot when i got two others same strain not doing it and they all get feed same nukes....I am so used to soil and roots not having enough room...that was first thought

Hi doc!

Are you going to stabilize it somehow?

Easy enough in soil to slip the root ball out for a quick look, but I don't know how that would work with Perlite.

In my lava rock grows, I could slip the root ball out and it would all hold together because the roots were all intertwined with the lava.

I don't know what would cause leaf curl on that single plant, but even within the same strain, individual plants can behave differently and can have somewhat different requirements. Are they clones from the same mom?

Yes thats why i figured they would act more alike and not just one...leaves looked like my feet would in shoes 3 sizes too small.....but if it wont kill my plant then will let it go...it's growing nice just though it might not have room for roots but ya saying np is good enough for me :grinjoint:
they are putting on the bud with this light compared to my past grows :)
