Very impressive. I will have to hang around in the shadows. And I have done a few KC strains too!

The Butcher ...yes it is a very good sign...lucked out finding this bagseed so going to keep her around awhile

The Two KC-33 I have in 12/12 are both boys....so will go with short bushy plant to get pollen from.....and kill the other

Then i can pollinate all strains I have and make some seeds

OK we choped down lowrider 6 weeks old 70% cloudy trichomes ....fast maturing bagseed strain (BudLady) few days ago took small buds from bottom of plant to test and it is ready...already.....next one that will be ready in 3 weeks and that will give it 8 weeks....this one could have gone a lot longer but no smoke so you know how that goes....this strain had a window of 2 week before it turns to the dark side....we dont like dark side so always pull when we are mostly cloudy...this strain will go 8 weeks before it starts amber trichomes but is ready in 6 So very nice strain i think and well worth making some seeds of....other thing about this strain is no matter what stress you throw at it while growing, it don't Hermie. And the super tight compact buds are nice as is taste and high....Head high long lasting...taste is sweat and smooth

now two of these bud ladies started off there life under CFL's So only half of flower has had HID light. Next batch of bud lady plants have had all HPS for flower so far and should show big difference in bud size

Not near enough veg time for this low rider...but still gets us as high

tricome ...good to see ya brother grower That was my first dish pan plant... wasn't sure how much it would grow...really should have veged it longer...Now second one i did i have veged longer and am flowering it now....small space i have limits me both up and sideways so just testing to see how much veg time will give me good yield per plant in these pans...in my space i could fit 6 pans and let them get maybe 3 foot to top of plant....so even with HPS looks like i am going to have to keep tying the ladies down and veg for around 4 weeks. Mona lisa Is taking up a lot of real estate in flower chamber so need to make room as she grows ....think i veged her for like 6 weeks...whoops...I do have a back up plan since light cant be raised any....there is two sections in closet...4 foot shelf and 7/8 foot section as well...only problem is have to pull plant out to go in and look at ladies. Also AC will blow right on plant if i have it on floor. But will find a way to make it work...Mona Lisa will be my biggest plant to date

SS ....I had 3 males killed two worst ...kept best and going to flower it, for some pollen just got few tips from brother grower Wood and it is pretty much same as how you do it which i planed on following....he also mentioned clear bag over it to give me better odds not to seed up my crop upstairs....i made a flower room in veg room for this purpose....what i am wondering now is it worth the risk? How bad will this male pollen travel...I know out doors wind can carry it far....but indoors is this as big a threat?
Couple things i have done already and had planed to do....I put platic try under plant ...top of pot to collect pollen....when the flowers opened i planed on keeping fan in room off and minimize time near male till ready for a shake then chop....at which time i planed on taking tray out and shake pollen into bag seal it and spray floor area where i was collecting pollen and flower chamber with bleach/water mix...Also outside of bag...then was going to leave clothes i had on in washer go upstairs take shower and place bag in fridge to use when i have female ready.
Now i am thinking bag on top of plant and couple small air holes like Wood suggested.....what is everyone else's take on this male pollen subject?

Tunes420, I took a small ziploc bag, and I would snip off the pollen sacs that were ripe, placing them in the bag. Then, when you have pistols on the buds that are ready, just use a q-tip to carefully collect up pollen and gently pollinate the buds you wish.

I think the bag over plant method is the safest bet.

I'm probably going to do it that way next time because it's easy, safer, and catches pollen well.

Some of it depends on whether you just want to pollinate a few buds now or save some pollen for future pollination.

Just use common sense and don't smoke before you do it, lol.

Here is one purple and lime green plant...for Halloween 40 days 12/12
this is another girl that had CFL's for half of 12/12 .....expecting a lot more from next batch of this strain that will have all HPS ....now that i have light

Had two plants in front of fan which was directly above AC....so i moved fan Still nice looking...never made a purple plant before...was fun and i am over that now

If ya look close you can see all the buds/colas right under leaves just waiting to pop up into canopy
I get excited easy LOL this is my biggest plant yet So am really proud of her ...well then again there was Fiona....unstable strain liked to grow bananas and make seeds...not good seeds either....so her life and strain was ended early...another month and that plant would have been Sweet!

HazeSeeker appreciate kind words brother grower....you and fluro man were two main influences on me to train plants ....so brother grower for passing on your vast knowledge
CharlieMopps ...I have 6 plants under the 600 watt (flower room)
don't want to over crowd anything and trying to keep air circulation around all plants.....small as my plants are I could probably have 8 under 600 watt with no problem. but again flower room is 3 1/2 x 5 feet ....two celling heights 4/8
I could have got the 400 for that small a area but when i expand i will buy another 600 and run 2 with like 10 plants 5 ft-8 ft

Tunes420, always checkin in even if I don't comment bro. Wish I had a 600 watt'r right about now. We are augmenting our 400 watt cool tube with two additional CFL's aimed at the sides of the plants, just trying to get light to all the buds. We opted to forego any LST on the 3 big plants just so we could see what an average yield would be. Keep em green brother grower.

GMT ....I have had so many lights to move in flower room ...now just have the one... that is best thing about getting more than we need for area and glad we did....a couple on the side would help me as well...but don't want to overload electric....have allot on it. but with more power i can just take top buds and let lower ones go a bit longer. My next big thing would be another 600 watt for veg then when we get bigger flower room pick up another HPS 600 watt .....this all won't be for awhile...a little at a time.
