Tryan2grow1 Second Time Grow - Autos In DWC With Mars-Hydro LED

Each res tonight reflects being dialed in with a falling water level, falling ppm and a static ph level. The BM is drinking twice as much water as the NL. The original res this week has 1/4 nutes. The top off water has been made with 1/2 strength nutes. The trend has shown that both these plants like the nute level to be between the 1/4 and 1/2. This did raise the ppm on each res by about 50 points. Looking good! Thank you for looking in.

This is the main top of the Blue Mystic. She’s going to explode out of the center here shortly.

She's down in the hole you see with the shot from above. Her top is one square to the right of center on the scrog. Stay tuned for the volcano effect.

It has been said that dynamite comes in small packages. Perhaps we have some explosive here with this Northern Light. She is giving her all on these buds. Getting frosty on some and all have an aroma that is very woodsy. A different smell for sure.

The ladies were more than ready for their picture session tonight. Full tent.

The pic doesn't reflect that this leg is off the ground.

Maybe I should just go back to growing bag seed and maybe another Northern Light. Here's why. This little bitty plant is rocking it in many categories. First off her reservoir statistics have fallen under the perfect conditions many times. Tonight was perfect again. The water level was falling, the ppm and ph are both static. Awesome. Second this little bitty plant is growing some buds now. Her top was thought to turn out to be a twiggy yet she's on her way to becoming a very nice fat gal. And as for bag seed, well that harvest is getting me thru this grow so all is good there, proven it can happen. Ok so let's gossip on the Blue Mystic. First off she can drink some water. One complete gallon to top off the res in 2 days. Then her stats are across the board. Tonight she had a falling water level, an increase over 50 ppm, and her ph dropped a half point in 2 days. The chart says to lower the ppm and/or res change. Too early for res change. Besides she's growing out of control. She'd take over the walk in closet let alone the tent if she were dialed in perfect. No tent required. Tonight's top off to the BM lowered her ppm and raised her ph back to around 6.2. Day 3 of light cycle change. C'mon do something girl, you only have so much space. Time we have, space not so much. Rock on team. Thanks for looking in.

Hey have you tried running your PH lower? I run mine at 5.5 to 5.8. Maybe it will eat different nutes from the soup and help? My coco I am running at ~5.9

The ph on my virgin grow was constantly raising. No matter how much ph down the res would get, the buffers in the tap water would bring it back up. Besides agitating the water with our bubbles naturally raises the ph also. So if the ph were fluctuating up a bit I'd feel better. But now that RO water is being used along with the Z7, the ph for the most part has been stable. And like you recommended a bit lower ph is where these gals were in the beginning of the grow but due to the deficiency that struck both plants from magnesium and calcium the ph was raised a bit to allow more of those nutes to get into the plants. There really is not a great concern for the ph because first off the plants are healthy and it really only fluctuates a small amount over a few days. As long as these res' stay between 5.5 and 6.5 the plants should maintain their health. Thanks for looking in scoooter.

Every grow has it’s photo with the obligatory bic lighter. Never did I think this could happen at day 57. This girl has that lighter dude hidden.

That top was tucked right as she started to bud so everything above the scrog on this one is all cola.

Should I try scrog?

The only reason that this grow got scrogged was due to height restrictions. The Blue Mystic was not topped or trained believing she would stay short. She did not comply. She got too big for me to do anything other than put her under a net. Otherwise topping and strict LST from the beginning would be my choice. Now, should I get a yield out of this world then scrogging remains in the future. As far as "should you", that remains your decision. But it's been kinda fun challenging yourself to be firm yet soft when tucking those branches. Makes me nervous every time. We shall all see what becomes of this scrog attempt. Grow on.

My seed supplier has checked and ensured me that the beans I received are to be autos. No duh the NL is an auto for she is on auto pilot. Just growing buds. It was ok'd to go ahead and see what the BM will do with a 12/12 light cycle. Good thing we are on day 4 of 12/12. Once the BM shows she is going to finally grow flowers then switch it back to 18/6. The supplier stated that doing this just the one time should not have adverse affect on the ladies. So the plan now is to monitor the BM closely and once she appears to go full flower back to the 18/6. And they asked me to keep them posted as to the outcome of the BM. Lights on in a few hours. Full photo and stat update then. Grow on team.

The stretch is on. Noticeable growth on the Blue Mystic in the past 24 hours.

A view from above plain and burple.

Both plants are growing beasts. Enjoy!

Once again the res' stats show what this grower already knows. The girls are happy. No ph fluctuations in 24hrs. The ppm are static and the ladies are drinking like they live in the sahara. So today's stats reflect a falling water level and static ph and ppm levels on both res'. By the plant diagnosis chart they are dialed in once again. As noted last week the BM wants more nutes than the NL. The ppm of each res reflect this exactly. I may have a green thumb but I feel more like a master of mixology with the nute balances. The girls feel my attention to detail. Chow down ladies. Let's get nice and plump with lots of oils and terpenes. Confidence is high they can do it. Thanks to all for watching these ladies thrive.
