Troy's 2nd - Autos - DP Ultimate & Euphoria, Meph Alien v Tangle, RQS Diesel

I hope you have a lot of Mason jars and cupboard space. I see some big harvests in your future. Plants look great!
That is a great problem to have. :thumb:

I agree- I have no problems buying storage containers. I already bought and received some additional analog humidity button gauges from China (cheap but take a long time to deliver). I'll have to buy some more of those Boveda 62 packs. They really worked well for my last harvest and have kept my buds perfect.

What size boveda are you getting? I'm going to get the largest ones (62 grams or something like that).

I've been using the 8 gram packs in 500ml and 750ml jars and they have worked great.

I will probably also go with 8 Gram Packets with as many as I will probably need. I used the 8 gram ones last grow. I jarred up in 1 Quart (940 ml) Mason jars and they did perfect. As a matter of fact I still have 6 ounces in storage and they are maintaining a perfect 62%

I understand the larger work fine but the costs are a lot more expensive. I've been buying mine on E-Bay the lowest price I have found is $10 US for 12 with free shipping.

Thanks. That means I was going to way overdo it. Not that you can, but I can save money if I purchase smaller wafers. Also thanks for the ebay idea. I would not have looked there.

Very strong looking babies!! I'm jealous of the hindu lol I love the flavs!

I too am looking forward to your Hindu Kush, but I'm keeping my eyes on the Afghan Kush because that's that one that blew me away. Strongest kush I have ever tried and I've had many since I love anything kush basically.

Olga that dark horse wants some attention at the finish line so she is giving us a good run. Did I notice some zigzagging in your stretch a little bit for her? Cause she is stacking already.

And that grafting you did, I've only seen it done a couple times, but never like your sculpture. I never would have known, yet it's obvious now to me. I did do a couple Scooby Doo double takes, so thanks for reminding me. Still a marvel and happy to see this now 3 times in my growing "hobby."

Now I just have to remember the names of the new girls...;) Fantastic job Troy.

The ZigZag you may notice on Olga is one of a couple super crops. I bent her over and within a day she raised her head on the end and the bud sites started stretching along the stem.

I'm really look forward to some good Kush. I bought some just before my last harvest and it really made a nice tincture.

I hope the Hindu does well. So far they seem to be taking to their new environment. I may have to dilute their nutrients as I'm seeing a little burn on the leaf tips. I guess I should have held off a little.

@Grow2HealMe Well let me see - I have used Topping, LST, HST, Pony Tailing, Cloning, grafting, tip spreading and of course singing to my girls. Maybe I will have to add Back Building when they get further into bloom. :nomo:

I'm impressed with the grafting. That is a pretty advanced technique to do to a cannabis plant. Was that done on an auto??

I've not read much on back building that convinced me it works. I've only read that it makes for a faster harvest, but I haven't exhausted the information to be read. I'll be interested in your trials for sure.

I've done back-building on photo's but not tried it on an auto, I'm game for more techniques. :)

I didn't know this.....how did it go for you???

I appreciate any insight you can provide.... :thumb:

Awww, okay Bonsai, I would be happy to share. Imo, back-building is a training technique to build more width in your bud. Some people do it early, but for me, I do it in the last 4 weeks of flower when I want to enhance the growth as opposed to directing it. I also want the vertical stretch to stop before I do it.

Some times my bud has been wide enough and I chose not to do it. Like all training techniques you want to adapt it to your style of growing. Maybe Troy can give his perspective to because we all have different times of doing things, but we all agree on adapting training techniques to customize your grow. I believe is Doc Bud's back building technique, I can't remember at all.

Hope it helps. Thanks Troy for letting me share in your journal. :thanks:

Yes... it is an Auto - I understanding Back Building really doesn't produce more but it just makes it look plumper and better shaped.
