Troy's 2nd - Autos - DP Ultimate & Euphoria, Meph Alien v Tangle, RQS Diesel

So that is why you do it so early because you have to work within the timeline of the auto grow schedule. finally got it.

Here is what I read about the DP Auto Ultimate, you're in for a monster. Cool research about her.

"Auto Ultimate - heavy yielding home grown cannabis

This weeks Auto Ultimate was harvested after 14 weeks of growing. Normally they are harvested after around 11 weeks of growth, but occasionally Auto Ultimate will produce a large plant that will take an extra 2-3 weeks and produce exceptionally heavy harvests. These plants simply keep producing more and more buds with lots of white pistils (hairs) emerging.

If you get one of these phenotypes simply continue feeding her and your patience will be rewarded with an XL harvest. Auto Ultimate is usually grown under 20 hours of daily light, but we have seen some customers get great results using 24 hour lighting from seed to harvest. Auto Ultimate is a flexible variety, she will also bloom under 12 hours of light if she has to, though harvests will be lower. Outdoor growers will also get good results from Auto Ultimate, she has good mold and pest resistance."

I've seen some remarkable results on an Auto Ultimate - I may have to move her to my back up tent if she gets out of hand. This is what Dutch Passion has to say about her -

The Ultimate® was automated together with some genetics from our original and legendary Auto Mazar® The outcome is a vigorous high-yielding variety which grows up to 80-100cm with compact buds ranging from medium to large in size. The buds are sticky and coated with a sweet aromatic coating of resin. The taste and high from Auto Ultimate® are very similar in quality to the original.

2/6/17 Tuesday update

We will start with Erica my mutant warrior. I should probably cull her but decided to let her go and see what she does.

She is only about 3/4 inch tall at 10 days. Instead of having 2 sucker leaves it had 3. As the regular leaves have begun they are also 3.

Will have to update later. The I Phone app lost it ability to upload photos.

I had to resort to manually uploading photos.

Nice drip. Are each of the lines on a controled valve or how do you keep constant water to each?

Thanks - I fired her up on the timer yesterday for the first time and she did pretty good.

I have 1 flow control/on/off valve on each line. I fire up the system and then adjust the valve on each ring so the flow is approximately the same. With 6 watering rings I am using approx. 1 gallon per minute with minimal run off in 7 Gallon Bags. I'm going to be playing with the timing to see if I can do 2 waterings a day with not a lot of run off.

Here's a picture of what it looks like:

HELP PLEASE - I will be doing my first topping within a week and I am sure I'm overthinking this whole thing but do you count the first leaf (pointed to in picture) as leaf node one. I am a bit confused :nomo: - the literature says to count from the first "TRUE LEAF".

Yea that is the first true set of leaves. Less than 50% of them produce on an untopped plant. I personally prefer to top after the 3rd or 4th node. I like to have 2 or 3 nodes so if I top after 4th I will usually strip the first node for clones.

Thanks MadDabber - really appreciate. I was thinking that the first true leaf was the ones that started having fingers, now I know. She is growing quickly and look forward to giving her a topping. I'll probably wait until I can have a clear view of the spacing of the 3rd and 4th node.

It is interesting. I have a feeling I got a bad batch of seeds on my last buy. She was my only Euphoria Auto (out of 3) to grow. Out of the same seeds from True North Seed I have a mutant Cheese. She is pretty ugly right now but looks like she has self topped herself as the top doesn't look like it is producing a new set of leaves and the shoots at the first node are starting to grow.

I had the same issue with the seed I got from TN seeds
Only 4 of 7 popped, I lost 1 NL, 1 PK and a Cheese

Just wait until you top ... I wish I did all of mine but I was unsure how they would react
I topped mine after the 3rd node

I'm stoked about what I have seen about topping Autos. I'm close to topping Olga --- just waiting until I can get enough spacing above the 3rd node to get in there and not damage the new shoots. I'm always amazed at how much they grow overnight (my lights are on overnight and the girls sleep between 1pm and 5 PM).

I left my garage door open a couple inches tonight to cool the garage down. We have been have beautiful weather with temperatures 24 C temps all week and expected for the next week. The temperatures in the garage is up 21 C. Last night the tent got up to 27.5 last night which is ok but getting a little too high.

id love to have those temps
What nutes are you using and what is your feed schedule
With the irrigation. Do feed nutes all through?
I'm feeding every other watering with mine.

Temps have been fantastic but I probably should have closed the garage late last night. The temperatures in the garage dropped to 61 F (16.5 C) and the temp in the tent down to 21 C. At least the temperatures didn't drop any lower.

On this round I am using Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur Perfect PH CoCo. It is suppose to be for the "Experienced" grower as it is a bit stronger than their normal line. It is a 2 part mixture. I also am using Cal-Mag, Voodoo Juice and B-52. I've also been adding HydroGuard to help build roots

Current dosage
Connoisseur A&B 30 ml / 5 Gallon 1.6 ml/L
Voodoo 38 ml / 5 Gallon 2 ml/L Weeks 1-3 only
B52 38 ml / 5 Gallon 2 ml/L
Cal/Mag 5 ml / 5 Gallon .25 ml/L

I am mostly using the Voodoo and B52 because I had it on hand from last grow and just using it up. Voodoo is an expensive version of HydroGuard and B52 is really an expensive version of B1 that can be purchased much cheaper.

First week was about 1/2 this dosage.

Daddy was being a little too rough on Dee yesterday and I broke one of her shoots yesterday. I put a splint on it and tried something I read in another journal and sealed it in place with some wood glue (e.g. Elmer's Glue). The shoot was wilting last night before the glue and was happy to see that it looks like the grafting is working and she is recovering. Dee's going to get a day of rest before any more torture.

Nice job saving it. I've broken two shoots off one of mine so far. They don't make em like they used to.

I knew I was pushing her. I was trying to make a 90 degree turn of the small branch to go in the opposite direction of the main shoot. The shoot on the opposite side of the plant did a nice turn.

I'm giving her a day off today.
