I grew in a homemade greenhouse for years, 2x4 studs, 4mil plastic over chicken wire. You’d have to replace the plastic every season, but it worked really well, it was 6x12x7.Still going with this project....just waiting on nature. I don't want the plants to be very big, so I'll wait a bit before I put them out. So I'm gonna use the pollen to hit my SPK, a couple Tangiewine females, maybe a couple NL if I can get em to pop. Probably a random bean too. Lol. I "built", or more or less crafted a makeshift greenhouse. Ghetto as all hell, but it's function over form. Lol. I'm a cheap bastard. Plus, I like being able to make something work out of what most call junk. I also have a native tobacco plant under the 150 hps. More updates to come as soon as I get some plants in the ground.

Mostly just to help keep the pollen contained, and the rain and bird shit. I was gonna try and run a flower run as well as a seed run separate, but last year proved that pollen covers 3 acres with ease. LolI was wondering what the sheeth was for..lol

This was the plastic I put over my chicken run last winter. Just doubled it up. Mostly doing this for privacy reasons, and to keep the rain and whatnot off the plants. Also the chickens. Lol

Here's the stud after a couple days out side. Hell get full morning sun til about 1 or so. Decided to use the big guy, as clones were not
agreeing this time around. My fault. Lol anyway, gonna soak some beans this weekend and get this party started. I'll be happy with 3 crosses. Maybe 4. Love how they look outside. He did get a neem treatment before, cause thrips. Lol

Soaked 15 beans. 5 of my spk, 5 UGL Tangiewine, and 5 Northern Angel. Of course I totally spaced out which were which when I put them in the ground. Hopefully I'll be able to tell. I'll know the spk, either way, I should have some seeds. Lol All are regs, so there will be males that need culling. A few had already cracked. They went right into the ground. No amendments except my chicken compost from last year. It's working good in my veggie garden so it should be fine. Snapped some pics of the 2x2 HID tent, with the tobacco plant. She got hit hard with some aphids, along with the carrot in there. Sprayed her with neem, and another treatment of mountain organics soil and leaf tonic, gonna hit her again tomorrow, and probably in a few days. It's a 15 gallon fabric pot for reference, of how big she is. I also have some outside....not as big, but they show no signs of aphids. Funny how that works. Also, swapped out the old sun systems 150, for a digital ballast, capable of 250-400+ watts, and I can run MH too. Thought I had a bulb, but just had the HPS. Running at 250 watts, and put a little duct fan in for exhaust. Temps are around 80. I do have a cool tube if need be, but I'm not really too concerned. This tent is just for fun and experimenting. Got about 5 lbs of potatoes off the last run.

Our stud. He's stinking up the area, fo sho! Lol gave him a hair cut a few days ago, gonna go ahead and thin out the lowers, kinda train him like a female, just for good measure. Seedlings still underground at this point.

Been tried, unfortunately it doesn't work, the only plant that cannabis can be grafted to is hops, same plant family (Cannabaceae). But if you graft a hop plant to a cannabis root, there's no THC production, and if you graft a cannabis plant to a hops root, it still looks/acts like cannabis, so what's the advantage? Now you might be able to do gene splicing, if you knew what gene(s) caused THC production, but that's way out of the ability of home growers.

Kinda funny. I grow the herb for the flowers, but I'm growing tobacco for the leaves. Tobacco flower here. I should get my cool tube outta storage. The bulb is running at 250watts, and the flowers have been about 4 inches from it. Unfazed. Lol one even grew into it. Birnt one flower. The rest of the cluster was fine. Other than aphids, this thing is a beast. Lol the ones out side are looking weird, but I still have some nice leaves. They haven't started flowering yet either. Still don't know what I'm gonna do with all this. Lol

Breeding project under way. All looking good and one runt. Lol. Should be starting to flower pretty soon here, maybe a couple weeks. The male is huge. Good structure though. I probably will have to take the greenhouse off, and let them do their thing in full nature. They're gonna get too tall, already are before flower. Lol And my pooches always tag along. Sterling and Bandit. Aka stir fry and Banjo. Lol
