Trala's Tent: The Wedding Album

While I know I’m a long way of achieving a canopy, I’m starting to get the method. I think I am anyway.
You're not far away at all, T- about a week from now, we'll be looking at a near-perfect canopy!
Hey, Cleo is only 4 inches taller than my plant now... I'm slowly catching up...
* excellent noodle work, Trala...:high-five:
Next week's training will be all about using your noodle... (groan...)

All caught up again T! Sorry I'm not good at keeping up. That canopy looks gorgeous!

My plants wake up dying of thirst.
Ummmm...no comment
I love the way she is looking. I think I’m starting to get it. I think I’ll do much better next time. Thank you so much for your help and hand holding. You really have changed the way I grow.
I enjoyed reading your uplifted excitement there. Lively feeling when things are going in the right direction. :green_heart:
So I like to do a Sunday Summary.
And an amazing update that was! Looking great :bravo:
I'm so impressed with the canopy training and also quite afraid to take this on myself ... scared I'll muck it up.
Just go for it Carmen. You got this. Worst case is you fail and can all try again.
So message to me BakedARea :- Go slow you Fucktard.
FTFY

She looks beautiful, Tra.

Haha sounds good have yourself a good I think afternoon nkw? Idk I’m high and can barely see and my son is trying to shove his foot into my ass for some reason cause who wants to sleep in a crib or in his own bed smfh I think this is karma I love being a parent yay adult stuff sorry for the rant lol
Well my son who is 31 has tonsillitis and is behaving like a dying duck in a thunderstorm. I had to go take him a wellness pay yesterday which included soup, grapes, lemonade and ice cream. His girl has covid symptoms and couldn’t go out, so bad news, as far as parenting goes they ruin you for life!

Your plant is looking fantastic Trala, super job!
Thank you Stunger :)

Her top part is looking quite flat.

I’m actually quite pleased.

Thank you! It’s a work in progress :)

Just needs to happen more!

Thanks girlfriend :)
Lollllinggggg

Thanks HG. It’s definitely far more work, but I’m converted. I have simply loved the process and control you end up having with the plant. See I’m legit a control freak from waaaaaaaaaaay back. Lol

Good morning C Side

Omg thank you so much! Even tho it’s not! Lol. I can see where I’ve gone wrong. She is quite wide, and I don’t have a lot of room left for her to go out.

I’m legit stoked with my noodle!

I’m totes up for using my noodle lol but I’ll need your direction coz my noodle isn’t known for producing the best ideas lol, but speaking of groans. What do women and noodles have in common? They both wiggle heaps when you eat them! LOLLLINGGGGGG!

And when’s flip looking like? What kind of window. While she has heaps more CocaCola growth points, she’s one third of the height my usual plants are, which has me STOKED! Omg my others are too big to get in and out of the tent!

Looking good Trala - nice work
We have canopy and will bud like a candelabra :)
It’s a work in process, but thank you. I’ll be better next go at it.

And I hope so :)

Hey Tra, nice noodle work! Cleo's on fire!
I was so stoked myself! It just all came together, well not my first try of noodle cutting, but the second.

“On fire” might be an oversell. Lolll she’s definitely looking a bit more carcass canopyish.

Hi,there, T.!
I'm thinking of flipping mine on day 50, which is Sunday...I just have a feeling this one might stretch quite a bit when I flip, so I'll start her out a bit on the short side- 7.5 inches tall today, and she's getting a half-inch taller every day, so by Sunday, she should be about 10" tall, if she doubles in height after the flip, that's 20 inches tall, which would be fine with me....but ya never really know what they'll do till they do it...
I'm good to 24" tall, any taller, there may be a problem.

Haha but this is when you tell me its worth it right? I hope they feel better I had covid around Easter it sucked but we got threw it and I was the last one to get it...I almost got away! I love my little guy just wish he'd sleep in his bed...I'm really considering buying him a twin bed maybe it'll help. He has to wear boots to bed for his club foot which is why im considering buying the bed

Sounds good.

I think I’m a week behind you. I do like a Sunday flip. Mine has lots of not symmetrical branches, so she’s defs maturing. Do we take the hooks off once we flip or do they stay on?

I move her hooks almost daily atm.

Absolutely not worth it. I could have bought a new BMW with the money I’ve poured into that kid. And the worst thing, I now love his kids just as much as I love him! So at this rate, I’ll never get to own a fucking Beemer, which is okay with me coz I hate them. Lolllling.

How is this for weird, you could have actually said talipes, and I would have understood. My son was born with a club foot too. It was considered “moderate” and was managed initially with a full leg plaster which was changed weekly for 3 months, then a brace till he walked. Then the bedtime frame till he was around 3 years old!

No, they have to stay on, and we'll probably have to add a few more, because we'll be dealing with the stretch for three weeks or so after the flip...
I tried taking them off once, and when I looked at the plant in the morning, I just thought "no" and I put them back on for the rest of the grow..

Hey ya C Song :)

No problems.

She is looking okay. One advantage about her being a bit spacier is she’s easy to water. She has very minimal petticoat.

Good morning/evening Trala, I hope your day has been treating you well.

Wow small world! I hated those casts we had to take them off every Monday before bringing him to the children's hospital and this was beginning of COVID so my fiancée had to mostly go alone for it.

Did he have to wear the boots all the time for the three years? My son was wearing them full time for about six months then we were told only at bed time. Little fucker broke both sides of his shin the following week tripping over mom while she was doing dishes.

He went the whole period without the boots and used his leg long enough where it actually healed faster. Also how much where the boots for you? One pair plus the bar is like $600 for us and that’s after the government covers 75%

When he’s old enough he’s becoming a welder to help pay me back for all this “dad” stuff hahaha in my dreams…

Brace till one, then these dual boots with a metal bar until look I think it was two. I had a raging heroin habit at the time so it’s sketchy at best.

I used to have welfare call on me to make sure I was taking him to appointments. Always had a hovering threat of foster care. New born with a plaster cast is never a good look… particularly on a junkies kid LOL.

All free here. Tho at the time I was a welfare sucking no hoper. So I’m not sure if workers had to pay.

He is the person who will choose your nursing home. Be good to him.

Oh and as I said, my son is your age, and once walking, he has had no negative blow back from his mongy foot. So if you were worried long term, don’t. That said he’s no runner, but neither am I.

I’m glad to hear your an ex heroin addict. A few years ago I was a self harmer and on the brink of suicide with some meds and consoling I made it though as much as the thoughts are there.

To keep it simple I had a girl I was talking to who was into self harm and got me into it then ghosted me when I went to get help and in the end tried getting back with me after I had moved on to my current relationship.

My fiancée was in a similar boat i truly believe the main reason for both of us staying on the same path is our son. Not only because we love him but the looming threat of CAS kinda made us stop as well.

Your kids (I’m assuming you have more then one since you had a young guy in a earlier post) are lucky to have you and learn from your experiences and knowledge.
