Omg I’ve had the best day! Sunny skies and a blue ocean and two of the bestest dogs ever! After a week of being couped up it was so nice to get out. I love this time of year. Cold enough for morning snuggles but warm enough through the day for a t shirt.
But that’s enough chat! Let’s do this!
Sunday Summary
I’ve seen a couple of nits and stayed vigilant with my treating of them. While the flower girls are fire, the veggers are slow. I’m hoping my new light will help speed things up.

Good morning Growings
Well I think you should. Like not in the sponsors thread lol. But in your own. So much of growing is trial and error. You never know who might be reading your journal. Seeing you fight for the plant to sing shows that it takes work, thought and planning.
You are a good grower, and you are still challenged. That’s part of the adventure. While I do see growers over complicate growing, there is certainly a lot more to growing than just wet and forget.

Omg I’m a bit stressed. Money. Bloody money. I just checked my payslip and due to my sickness I’m $500 under my normal wage this fortnight. Next fortnight I’ll be $1500 under. And I feel bad because my man did 36 hours in overtime last fortnight, and he’s doing 24 hours of overtime this fortnight. And that will more than cover the money I’ve lost. But I hate not carrying half the load.
On the upside, I have the next three days all to myself lolling.
It’s absolutely freezing here and I stupidly organised a walk this morning with my best friend. I haven’t seen her in ages, so it will be nice. I think a problem shared is often a problem solved.

It’s cold here atm. Today is fookin freezin!
You’d think that, but the fruit of my loins and his ex partner smoke 20g per week. They puff through it like no one’s business.
I often feel like a weed version of Henny Penny. They love the aroma of the bread I bake, and they love to smoke it, but they have zero idea the amount of planning and work that goes into every baggie.

Once the tolerance builds a bit, 20g a week becomes a bit too easy. That's the issue I have with my harvests. Lack of space means a small grow, small grow means a small plant, and a small plant is feck all in my jars. Between m'lady and myself, we'll puff an ounce in 2 weeks if we take it slowly. My jars are emptied almost as quickly as they're filled!
I've got a new wee baby girl on the go the noo, just a bairn at 2 weeks old. Journal in my sig, if ye fancy a peep, ken?
Also, what is cold? It was 18c today and I was sweating buckets digging up my garden

(I gave Billy’s cross and memorial in my Bloom Room an update. Jimmy was legit looking sad about it at his grave too! The adopted dog brother he never knew. Made my heart explode with love)
Right amount of plant and garden time -
(Suns out guns out baby!)
And the right amount of bargain shopping. $7 from Vinnies! -
(And in case you didn’t know, you should always make your bed when you get up. Like make it properly. It’s the first nice thing you can do for yourself each day. I learned that in NA. And I’ve been doing it ever since my first meeting. I always end my day with a smile of gratitude thanks to my nicely made bed. Which was nicely made just for me. For me, by me lolling!)
My jobs are all done, dinner just needs to be reheated and I’ve still got two more hours of lone time. Time to pour a wine
