I've got two patients and no new admits on the horizon. Emergency is the Q word.

I'm on with my jam too. Best peeps. The Christmas vibe is in full jingle mode.

So far Christmas Day is golden.

It’s the day after the day here. Where we breathe that sigh of relief and thank fuck it’s over.

Had the best day. Cruisy AF. Only one real sickie on the ward and she wasn’t mine.

The Health Service turned it in for lunch. No expense spared. And apparently the ham was pouched, well more served from a vat of hot water. As you can see they don’t scrimp on the cranberry sauce… when they don’t serve the turkey that’s meant to go with it.

Had the best time. We played the nurses version of Fuck, Kill, Marry. It’s called Finger, Fist, Fuck. And the players ranged in age from 21 to 63 years of age. And a nice sexual mix of straight, gay, bi. And a nice personality mix of shy, religious, stern, casual and naughty. You had to be there, but so fucking funny. Sure we will prolly have to face HR, but to see old Rhondy blush then choose made it worth it!

Omg my man has done me dirty! SoooooOOooooo dirty!

I was imagining today yesterday. My Friday. Swim, light dinner, another swim. Some gin. A cheeky scoob. Tunes. I was living for it. Absolutely living.

Today at 0530 my man who’s off rolls over and says “oh and we’re doing dinner with the crew tonight”. NooooooOooooo! My soul broke. I’m so peopled out and my Friday night is RUINED!

It was okay. It was an early dinner. Great cocktails, great food, super bad service. Not rude, just inexperienced. I felt so bad for the wait staff. People can be so fucking rude.

If the worst thing that happens today is your cocktail is wrong, or your food is not served to everyone at once it’s still a good day. Be kind. Be conscious and grateful you’re not in a fucking warzone, or sitting by a loved one in hospital or in a storm savaged surburb in Queensland. People can be such cunts.

My man drove, I was a little bit lit. It’s super balmy here at night. Still 27 degrees at 2100. We went to the beach after and I smoked a scoob. It was just lovely tbh. Full moon so god help nightshift.

Got home, and went for a walk around the block to try and move the rack of ribs in my belly, omg I was soooooo giggly. My man was doing Xmas light commentary:-
