Very nice colors! I hope the new stuff holds up as well.My teenage girls are enjoying fresh air, sun showers, dancing in the wind and QLD humidity, while my little women are cooped up with faux light, fan sways and 61% humidity.

Hey Tra, that should be plenty of light for the seedling. You said you only need it for 2 weeks right?
If she gets a bit leggy just raise her to sit where the birds are or even at the base of the lamp. You won't need to worry about the seedling starting to flower, she's too young for that still. I've successfully rooted clones with a regular led bulb, it actually works really well... better than under intense light imo. Did you show the mantis your plants?

I thought I’d answer here coz I don’t want to mess up Carcasses thread with my saga.
I have 4 plants in flower and only enough good solid flower light for 2. I have squeezed 3 in that area, and I have the 4th in my veg tent with 12:12.
Once the Peyote is finished, which will hopefully be no later than 3 weeks, I’ll have my veg tent back. It hit me yesterday that I might be hurting the seedlings growth with just 12 hours of light. I remembered a conversation with my friend about vegging under normal lights and my lamp idea was born.
I thought I’d answer here coz I don’t want to mess up Carcasses thread with my saga.

Great job…. she may not experience rapid growth with just a single bulb but yes ma’am with long light hours it will keep her from triggering over into flower!!!

I did consider it, but I hate the thought of her trapped and confused in the flower room. My plants are outside every day. She is more than welcome to come back if she wants to.

That mantis was in a world of trouble. Getting the web off her was such a job. I was terrified I’d tear legs off. I was only saying the other day I never see praying mantis in the garden.

It was a brain explosion of an idea. One minute I was reading Carcasses reply, next minute I was in Big W looking for cheap lamps lollingggg.
The bulb basically touches the dome on top of the clone tray.
It's pretty close but probably gets diffused a bit through the dome.
Can't be more than a couple inches but the bulbs are only 40-60 watts.
Just take it slow and see how much she stretches and go from there.
Bet you can her a foot away without any issues.

With a little bit of flair, some staging and retouching you could get photo of the month with those morning pool shots.
I love tent shots, big f@rk off colas and dense bush, but you can grow Tra, no doubt about it.

So I’ve got a me day and I’m playing around with my plants, and I’ve noticed before that Tee has very big mammary glands or ovaries, one or the other. Like big enough that I’ve often questioned them coz I don’t remember any other Tangie having big tits/bits which ever they are.
I spotted this funny bit thing. I pulled it out and inspected it. I looked at those ovaries and I’ve decided they are balls. Are they balls? I nipped a bud and I can’t see seeds. Omg is she herming? Coz I know stress herms them and let’s face it, 5 minutes with me and you’re stressed. It’s been hot, humid and wet here. What do you think?
I pulled this out of the suspect bud and nearly DIEDDDDD!

I don't think foxtailing equates to hermying, the pic above looks like she wants to grow more and the boy bit before pic didn't look viable. Stress less

I would not stress about it, if you find "nanners" that look like bananas just pick them off and they won't really do much unless they mature enough to form pollen. Your plant is desperate and just doing what it can to make babies. I personally like smoking foxtails it adds bulk to buds. I do think it's ok

) will not have any trichomes...if it's got trichomes on it, it's a girl part...You can relax now...

Going to weigh in here.
Now I could be wrong, but as you are fond of, Im like 80 to 90% sure what youve stumbled on is fine.
True hermi nannas look exactly like the description, like tiny bananas coming out, which on keeping with the analogy are proper sacks, like ball sacks, full of pollen.
However lets say Im 100% wrong. Only three outcomes are possible. You nip them and none return. You nip them and miss one and it puts pollen out but no pollination happens. It puts pollen out and hits some lower bud sites, youll get feminised S1 for self, and feminised x for others.
Its not the end of the world if (and its a big if) one goes hermi and lets pollen go, if your a breeder it can fuck up your space and lineage, but a casual grower has the time to wipe down, or permanently change out tents, perhaps some femmed seeds as compensation.
The old hippies loved bud with seed, it seems to be a modern thing to freak out about. Just natural for them to want to try and replicate, what we do is basically telling them, Im your master and you can go fuck yourself, and occasionally they do.
