Trala’s Tent

The humidity of the house will effect the fridge humidity but I still find it's better than air drying.
7 days is ok and I find the flowers humidity will go back up a bit when it goes in a jar.
It is what it is!
Have a look for Boveda 62% humidity packs.
They will balance everything out for you whether too wet or dry.

Looking great T! :green_heart:
I have those Bovedas. I hate them tbh. I feel like they make the weed taste funny.

I thought it was meant to stay in the fridge for 3 weeks.

So you think it’s ok? For the humidity to be so up and down?

Oh I forgot to mention I'm trying an experiment with a file box instead of a paper bag for drying.
It does seem to be drying alot slower than the last lot in paper bags.
And the bonus of the box is that they stack well and keep a nice air gap around the flowers.
Like I said it's an experiment, so I'll update as it goes along.

I haven't done the low/slow thing enough to advise you...but the one time I did it, I finished the drying
the regular way (because it was taking sooo long) and that weed still is the best tasting stuff I've grown so far....but you've come this far, might as well let them finish in the fridge.
Remember- there's a reason they call it slow :)

And @Carcass and @Paul Squiggle why are you two psychopaths ♥️‘ing my very obvious Def Con 9 humidity fridge cure trama?

I’m in the brink of hys-fucking-steria here!

The only thing you can control is the humidity you have them at when they are jarred up.
Bovedas are bags of salt water basically.
They shouldn't really effect the taste.
But ..

Yep ewe are!
Salt is dissolved in hot water at the correct ratio. It then absorbs or releases moisture.
Magic really.
When they go hard it's released all its moisture and people throw them but you can revitalise them by soaking them in water again.

I was all on board Tra -Train but after jar lid disaster I‘m outta here…. a man has to draw the line somewhere…. You are too crafty for your own pants….Missy:love::love::love:

dropped words on your faq page but now I’m wondering if cardboard box is containing humidity… making it more difficult for fridge to pull it down?? hmmm IDK but inquiring minds want to know

enjoy your freedom - you deserve to skate!!!

Thanks, T .. for some reason, I had it stuck in my head that it was drying to slow!
I gotta pay closer attention...

Have you seen how @Grand Daddy Black does his? He dries his in jars, in the fridge- seems like that might help to slow things down. He replaces the seal part of the lid with a coffee filter, to let air in and out.
That's about all I know about his method, but I'm sure he'd answer any questions you might have
