My day has been filled with glitter, flowers and worry.
My little friend Billy is quite unwell, he has tendon damage in his front leg and can’t walk. He is a grumpy old dog, but he’s my dog and quite frankly he thought of a life without him devastates me. On the upside, when that day does come I have 101 RIP photos coz he looks so dead when he’s sleeping.
I took some glitter shots. Any advice harvest wise is welcome.

Do you have any CBD oil? You could feed that to him. Or, do you have some cannabis-infused pain cream to rub on his tendon (you'd have to block it from him somehow so he couldn't lick it off). I don't have a dog and really have no idea but I would think either of these things might help.

My kids know this deal too. I push them in buggies and wipe their butts and soon they can return the favour. LolWell start saving old boy. Won’t be long till you’ll be needing ‘em yourself.

I don’t have CBD oil, nor do I have cannabis infused cream. Tbh I would not feel comfortable giving him either even if I did, he is only 6kg, and I would worry about appropriate dosing. I have strapped his leg, and started him on a 3 day short sharp prednisone dose. He didn’t Yelp overnight which is an improvement on the night before. I carried him to his pee spots to toilet yesterday. He is eating, and drinking and seems ok in himself so it’s a waiting game. He is such a lovely old dog, look when I say lovely I mean cantankerous old git, but I love him so so much. Lolllllll
Thank you. I swear wouldn’t know a ripe plant if it bit me on the nose. I 100% thought I was going to get told to cut Kimee. The only one I knew was clear was Road Runner.
My garden looks so lovely atm. I have planted a stack of little flowering plants. And omg that orchid - so pretty, side story I will never read or write the word orchid without internally cringing again. Apple orchid indeed.

They are so hard to lose. They remind me that each and everyone of is is a tragedy waiting to happen. So, might as well get stoned!
Oh Daisy. I already love her. I love people who choose to rescue. It makes my heart soar with gladness it really does. My old boy was an abused dog. He has had the best time with us. And we have had the best time with him.
I had a patient two weeks ago who was dying. I was giving her face a wipe and providing general care, she was on a high flow oxygen machine and her eyes were just terrified. I held her hand and she shared she was super scared. I told her, like I’m going to tell you. We live, we die. All of us. We might go to paradise, we might be eaten by worms, or remain cremated dust, no one knows. Every minute you waste on the worry of life lost and death, whether you be the die-ee or the die-er, is a minute lost in the here and the now, coz let’s face it, we are all guaranteed on the carking it part.
I have to remind myself of this often. I’m all about quality of life, and for right now, Billy’s quality of life is still good considering he is a geriatric dog.
We recently had an older dog tear her acl. Took her to a doggie physical therapist and he did wonders. They used some kinda laser thingy, gave her acupuncture, had us giving her injections of some stuff and things, anywho short story long she had a full recovery and is doing great. Sending prayers for your little friend.

How old?
I have him strapped. I’ll keep it strapped for a week and the pred should help with inflammation. The problem with my dog is he has a really low pain threshold. So it’s hard to tell how significant the injury is. If he stands on a prickle he acts like he’s been shot in the leg. He has full range of movement, no shortening to his leg. He did it jumping off a curb. He is still not weight baring on it.
She's 12. The vet wanted us to fly her to a city for a $5,000 surgery, and that wasn't going to happen. We found a physical therapist / holistic dude much closer who helped us out with those therapies and some exercises to work on. She's a friggin' tank of a dog who doesn't know the meaning of the word pain though. It's tough when our furbabies are hurtin. Had to put my other dog down in July after he suddenly lost the use of his legs, still shed some tears about that most days.

My boy is between 16-20.
Surgery is not an option for him so I’ll just manage the symptoms conservatively. I haven’t taken him to the vet because I’m not going to investigate it so there is no point. I will only take him if his pain is too much. Atm he’s good. No yelping. I thought I’ll try 3 days of pred to help with the inflammation and strap it to help rest the area. I noticed he placed his paw on the ground when peeing which is an improvement on yesterday.
They want to reproduce. To the point of getting it done without pollen. I don't know the science, but they do things like hermie if they think they need. My seed came from the little ball near the crotch where a leaf or branch came out. I don't know but I'm thinking female.
People die and leave us their dogs. 2 out of 3 of them (Lolo & Pooter ) We have tried to rename Pooter, but that’s HER name. Then there’s Molly, the only one we picked and she has eaten our rugs and woodwork, she’s an asshole.

Sorry to hear Billy is unwell. We have a 10yo staffy (yep bogan’s breed) who has started to show his age. We got him as a pup when my oldest was 1yo. Our family will be a wreck when he leaves us…
