Good night! It has been a FANTASTIC 3 day weekend. (I now have 7 plants in order to give @passithere room in his grow tent. So now he has 6 and I have 7, instead of the other way around. We will be getting his tent the exhaust fan setup soon. And I will be getting a clip on fan. Will buy a smart one just because the dumb ones don't rotate.

My fans were very hurt by you saying that fans that didn’t rotate were dumb. lol But you definitely get what you pay for and for 4 bucks a piece they move the air better than nothing. Lmao CL.

LOL! I meant oscillates. The vivosun fans that don't oscillate also don't happen to be smart fans. The ones that oscillate also connect to the growhub (thus, "smart") that we will soon have.

All of this is my first (deliberate) grow ever. So... Day 31 of these two gals, Bates (6.5 inches tall) and Sister Bobbie (4 inches tall), being in soil. Once I learned not to be too stingy with watering them, they shot up in height (yes, they were way shorter lol) and their stalks got nice and fat. I am mostly saving the nutrients for my husband's plants because I don't want us to run out and I don't want to buy more. On retrospect, looking at my old notes, of my first 5 seeds (all 10 have been from same batch), the two that first popped are the two that are now still standing. An interesting thought. And... I am thinking that I performed helmet surgery on Sister Bobbie and she is now doing okay. Not extravagantly, but okay. I love her. That's all that matters. Anyhow... I am SUPER DUPER MEGA happy with Bates. She has always been the best and now she has shot up pretty tall. You are probably saying to yourself that 6.5 inches tall isn't very tall, but it is the tallest plant I have grown so far. I am elated.

Dolly, Johnette, Wendy O., and Chaka Khan were all planted on May 13 at night so today is Day 18. Of the 4, Dolly is doing the best. She is about 6.5 inches tall. Johnette looks droopy and is 3 inches tall. I took off her bottom leaves the other day (I forgot). Also, I notice that very little wind is blowing on her. (A fan is coming in the mail soon.) Let's see. Chaka Khan looks droopy and 3 inches tall. Her bottom two teeny leaves (I forget the term for the first leaves) look pretty bad like I burnt one with a bic lighter. Her stalk is skinny. I am sure she needs more fan action. I hope it is arriving soon. The 4th of that second batch that survived (one died) was Wendy Orlean. She has a too-skinny stalk (not enough wind) but she is DERTERMINED. 4 inches tall. GET IT GIRL. Finally, we have Chessie, barely taller than 7.5 inches. My husband and I decided on that name. I convinced him to give me the plant because his tent is too crowded. I think he should clear out one or two more (and let me hoarde them in my tent) but maybe soon he will have no choice and will have to LOL

Sister Bobbie is 5 inches tall today. Wendy O. is 4.5 inches tall. Chaka Khan is 3.5 inches. Johnette is 3 inches tall. Chess is 7.5 inches tall. Bates is 7 inches tall. Dolly is 6 inches tall.

Okay so I am keeping a log (one log for each plant and one log for the tent). (Yes I know the heat index isn't good...) We are getting a TDS, pH, and 3-in-1 meter (and also a fan!) on Tuesday or Wednesday so I will have even more data to fill in my spreadsheet.
