I'd be going with three as well. The bottoms are already losing their color so they are hungry. Probably take four shortly thereafter.

Kelp is .4g/4L or gallon. That's the info they sent with mine...different packaging but I believe it's the same shite. It has an NPK of 0-0-15. It'll make the water turn blurple and near the end you'll find some bits that never dissolve.
