Tom Smith's First Indoor Grow With Autos 2017

Does that mean the feed I've prepared is f*cked

You can always increase it if you start too low. Start too hot and fry them, you can try something lower next time, on your next grow, because you turned them to dust. lol

I usually sit between 400-600 but this ones gone crazy am just gonna run it thru and keep a close eye on how it reacts to the ppm

If its gone crazy, and is nice and green, it likes what you are doing. Unless you see deficiencies/yellowing, leave it be. More doesn't equal more. Equate it to a human. A football star is eating 5,000 calories a day to maintain a healthy body. He wants to get faster. He figures, if 5,000 calories makes me run a 4.4 second 40 yard dash, maybe 20,000 calories will make me run a 4.2. It doesn't, he gets fat and unhealthy and ends up running slower than before.

Thanks far side for the info. I'm trying a hydro grow, my first one and the info you shared will help me a great deal. Everyone says hydro is easier but I'm finding the transition from soil to he harder then others I guess

I used the right nutes but I also added accelerator which I hadn't used until now I've created a post asking for help but also stated if it works il let people know once I know for other people's information ..

I used half dose accelerator instead of full luckily

Someone also said never go over 1400ppm or you'll get nute burn il just be careful to monitor when filling the 100l by a god dam kettle for a jug, just bought some diff nutes same brand made for hard water as the one I got was meant for very low ppm luckily my tap water sits around 350 so it's not to far off

That still seems wicked hot to me. On a Hanna scale, 500 PPM is and EC of 1.0, 1000 PPM is 2.0, 1600 PPM is 3.2! At least in my Pro-Mix, I don't reach 600 PPM even at full bloom.

News just in always read ppm meter instructions I just found out that mine doesn't apparently ready what it say but on mine I half it and on another divide by 7 as they they .49 or .70 that blew my mind that was skybound who pointed this matter out

Mine would look more like this (using a Hanna Scale):

Seedlings = 200 PPM/.4 EC
Early Veg = 300 PPM/.6 EC
Full Veg = 400 PPM/.8 EC
Early Bloom = 500 PPM/1.0 EC
Full Bloom 600 PPM/1.2 EC
Im going to get me a ppm meter soon as i can, i have alot to learn about ppm and this will give me something to go off of, thanks for all the info.✌

Lol, that a good way of explaining it. ✌

I complicated your nutes add ppm and so does you water so I guess make a small container mix with your ratios and multiply it to make the same gallons or litres which every system you use

Im gonna order me a digital ph meter tomorrow, it will make my life alot easier, it will be alot better than the drops with the color chart i been using, the drops with color chart gets me close to 6.5 but with the meter i can set it right were i want it. ✌

Ir's normally not what your meter says that needs the adjustment, its converting what your meter says to EC that needs adjustment based on which scale your meter is calibrated to. The most common is the Hanna .5 scale. A lot of the cheap meters on Amazon (mine included) use the Hanna scale. That's why its better to speak in terms of EC rather than PPM because the person on the other end could have a meter calibrated on a different scale, for example a .7 Truncheon calibrated meter. Its also why I try to always add which scale and an EC value to most of my posts regarding PPM. See the attached table for conversions.

Hope my girls liked their feeding today, im thinking Jaimie the ww might be close to being ready by the time she hits the 85 day mark, hopefully she will at least be ready for the flush to start by then. I am hoping she really fattens up nicely over the next 3 to 4 weeks, i can't wait to see what the final yield will be from her, if she fattens up like i think she we hopefully i will end up with over 2oz dry, maybe even closer to 3oz, her buds feel like they are going to get nice and dence, oh well im just rambling on, we shall see what she yields soon enough lol.✌
