Tom Smith's First Indoor Grow With Autos 2017

Very forgiving strain too. the one i grew before was accidently topped :hmmmm: at the age of 46 and still gave me 96g dry from a 250w hps. I tried really everything to kill her and she was fed with arround ph 7,4 beginning to end cause i didn´t knew my ph. She was overfed, overwatered, underfed, underwatered really everything except Pests. Nothing of this all happened to this one, so i´m expecting only the best :)

That sounds like what i need, hard to kill lol. That is a great yield though for a auto.✌

I have a question, i have heard some people say to wait till a auto quits stretching before you give any bloom nutes, i just want your opinion, when do you start bloom nutes for autos. Thanks for checking in on me by the way.✌

Autos where best fed with Bloom Nutes from beginning on, you can add very small amounts very early if you use a light soil or medium. Mine gets their first feeding at about Day 7. Of course, i do use a very small amount first, like 1/8 of a full dosage.

Only thing i have added so far is big bloom and grow big, big bloom is just earthworm casting and bat guano. I probably need to start adding some tiger bloom soon but i will probably have to flush first wont i.✌

i don´t know this fertilizer, is there any N-P-K ratio for it?

I gave mine bloom from begining to rand with the advanced nutrients. I have 3 part PH perfect line. They recommend using all three. What nutes are you using?

Grow big is 6-4-4 and the tiger bloom is 2-5-4, it is fox farm nutes by the way, im impressed with ff nutes so far, im just not sure if i should give a flush before i start on the bloom nutes, from what i have read i believe most people do.✌

I´m using Hesi Nutes, for Autos Bloom Complex (3-3-4), Phosphourus+ (0-7-5), Hesi Boost (0-1-1), Root Complex, Powerzyme and SuperVit. Bloom Complex at day 7 with 0,75 ml/l, then raising slowly. With first real flowers, i give them Hesi boost at 2 ml/l. Not because of the P or K, it contains Triacontanol. This is an organic substance which rapidly accelerates the Plants Metabolism, There are serios scientific studys that proof it´s working. But Autos don´t seem to like that given periodly, so i only use it once. After that every single Plant i gave it to, started to drink about double the speed. Like, watering 5 liters every 4 days immediatly jumps to watering about 5 liters every 2 Days. After that i start with just a little Phosphorous+ and raise it gently

Looks great Tom.
Really nice job with the lst!

Just a thought, If you are looking for something to experiment with, you could try a little defloiation on one of the older girls that you have done the most lst to. IMHO right now is a good time. The plants are nice and low and bushy and from what it sounds like they may be getting close to stretch. I personally would not touch the fans on the outside of the plant. Removing a few fans on the inside that are blocking internode branch sites would be ideal. This will open up the plant and allow more light to areas that will be more branches. Also it will help with air circulation inside the plant a little.
If you try a little on one plant and compare the results it may be a great learning experience.
Just if your looking for something to do lol.
It's just a thought, something I have found effective at this point. If you don't do any defol the plants will still be just fine lol. Either way they are some nice healthy plants. They are growing fast, great job!

Im using fox farm, it has grow big which is for veg, and it has tiger bloom which is supposed to be for bloom. It also has one called big bloom, the directions say give the big bloom all through grow which i have, but it don't have a npk, it is just earthworm casting and bat guano from my understanding. I guess i should start adding the tiger bloom shouldn't i, if so would i need to do a flush before adding and would i still need to mix a small amount of grow big with the tiger bloom. They have all started throwing pistils, i think they may start forming buds shortly and i want to make sure i feed them correctly lol. Im sorry for bothering you with so many questions and i really appreciate any feedback .✌

A 3 : 1 : 2 ratio of NPK works well on cannabis, which is what your Grow Big is. I've done grows with that ratio from beginning to end without one drop of "bloom" nutes and have been successful. Myself, I plan to start adding bloom nutes after week 4, and I won't go 100% bloom ever, I'll still have a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom through the end of the grow. I'm combining products to get the NPK ratios I think work best for me. You can see the Science Fair Project link in my signature, 1st post, for the reasoning behind my logic.

I was thinking about that, little scared but from what i have read and seen with other journals i really do believe it would be good for me. My plants are getting really bushy and it is hard to open every single shoot with just lst along. So the bigger leaves on the main outside i would leave and only take the little leaves on the inside correct. I think i will give it a go though, i really think it would help my yield alot. Also Jay do you flush before you start your flower nutes. I have found out alot of people give flower nutes from the beginning. Will i have to continue to give grow nutes at a lower strength when i add bloom nutes or will the bloom nutes provide enough nitrogen. Sorry for all the questions but i value your opinion alot thanks for all the help.✌

Just seen your post farside05 thanks for the info, i was just a little bit worried about it, so far they seem to be doing really good with the grow big, maybe i should just keep them on the grow big and see how it goes.✌
