Toast's 2016 Indoor/Outdoor Grow Journal

Its so weird, I see these plants every day, and it just blows my mind that they can change so dramatically over night. These tops on the PK in the Plot weren't like this yesterday.

Some times they just explode. TOAST

I took the first plant on the second tear of the left side of the hill. UD X JDS ( UltraDawg X Jarillo De Sanola )

and I replaced it with one of the El Fuego clones that was in the cage

The EF still has a long way to go, so it should thrive in the ground. I also mixed up a big bucket of Bat Guano Tea that I will put on all the plants in a couple days. I just feed them FoxFarms yesterday. Every thing is actually looking better than I expected. TOAST

I don't know why I didn't spot this yesterday, but I didn't. On the BlackWater O.G. plant 80% of the plant is a relatively a much lighter color

then this one branch, which is super dark green, like a 100% Indica.

I don't know how that's possible. I wasn't sure you would be able to see the difference on camera, but its clear as day. So how the hell can that happen. Like I have said before many time, these plants just amaze me. The different stuff they can do is mind blowing. Later TOAST

I've had a similar thing happen, I had 2 branches on Blackberry plant go pink/purple, while the rest of the plant stayed totally green. It was really odd, but just goes to show that different limbs on the body of the plant may have their own behavior, some parts of the plant can express genetics differently than others. It's not common, but a testament to the evolution of these organisms, something as subtle as this COULD mean the difference been survival or not.

Anyway, this year - the PK plot, EF plants, and Planter #2 plants - best plants I've ever seen you grow, also the Planter #1 sculpture is maybe one of the best looking group of plants I've seen in that planter. Kinda reminds me of those dolphins that gardeners trim artfully from some hedge plant, very nice sculpture.

But boy - that PK plot is turning into something really special. Keep up the good work :cheertwo:

Yeah, that PK Plot, with the colder night Temps, started showing a nice Purple Hue, I noticed yesterday also. The PK doesn't get real dark like your JD does, but it is pretty. Thanks for the explanation I have never seen or heard of a plant doing that. But I've never had a plant throw one male branch either, weird year. Maybe it's EL Nino that's making them freak out. LOL Can't wait to see what going to happens tomorrow. TOAST

I missed a couple days here and man! Look at the garden grow! Great work TOAST! :high-five:

I saw a lab test result ran on El Fuego, it was almost 18% THC.

Hey Lem, your yard is looking impressive as usual - some big girls there.....

My UltraDawg is dead, (it never recovered from whatever that wilting lergy was) but will have another go at them in the spring

Jealous that Conradino got to walk round your garden live....sounds like you guys had a real gas :ganjamon::allgood::yummy:

Hey GORGEOUS, I see you spent some of your precious off time getting caught up. I knew the UDC ate shit, I'm all ways checkin you out girl. The yard really blew up sense you were last here. It looks like I ended up with a few TOP SHELF strains this time, thing seems to be producing more resin then usual. If the El Fuego lives up to the hype, this grow is gonna be EPIC. Hope every thing, other than the UDC, is Fine and Dandy I your part of the world.`It looks like the 707 and the Portela are doing fine, at least that's better than nothing. Thanks for droppin by. Let me tell you that if you ever get the chance to hang out with Kon and Novella you would be remiss in not doing so. These folks are the definition of CLASS. The guy I ran the boat for in the Keys is married to the Coke-Cola heiress. I have taken STARS, Multi-Millionaires, and even Ted Turner and the top Brass from Turner Broadcatsing out fishing, ( Ted Turner and my boss Larry Dukeheart are collage buddys ) and I would rather spend my time doing absolutely nothing with Kon and Novella then any thing with those people. So next time they are in London you got to hook up with them. I know you will have a great time just like I did. Love Ya Bapple Keep um Green. TOAST

Thanks Lem!:high-five:

Everything is fine and dandy....except everybodys wells are bone dry and it hasn't rained properly since like June...mains water is a lottery in the summer round here. Until it rains properly, only watering my chillis and Okra and my herbs. (And my girls of course)

Re Conrad and his lovely wife - I knew that any person with Fela Kuti as his profile photo was going to be on my wavelength; not surprised it was an exciting meeting of hearts and minds.

Speak soon Godfather :thanks:
