This is B&J's Place - Bill & Janet's Place - Again

Thanks Sisco. I cruised thru your site a time or two. Good to see you still growing and harvesting. We all are putting the Cartel out of biss. One room at a time. Well, my son came out and we started to run the electric for the lights. He's alittle unsure with his footing up high, but he's catching on. Well he got the wire pulled and the breaker in. And we put up a CAP Light Controller. Nothing fancy but it works. It's on a 30 AMP breaker, so it leaves alot of room for expanding my lights. It could handle up to 4 1000 watters. 2 will work 'for now'.
Box45.JPG

Well soon enough this room will get dialed in. I plan on CO2 tanks in the future. Takes time to get the pieces together. Well next step will be the exhaust. The way I got the plants timed for harvest, I won't need anything till I get back. Most of the flower room will be empty. Spring is here, and I'll be using the BIG HID in the sky for a veg lite. I already shut down my 600 watter veg room. I have afew little ones in the 2X4 tent with the 200 watt CFL and afew clones as well. Will be another interesting grow this year inside and out. The Iced Grapefruit in about 2' tall now, and soon it will be going in a 35 gallon pot, along with a Wonder Woman. I wonder how good a Cheese wood do outside? I have a Exodus Cheese from green house going out there. Could be a prospect for a monster.
I'm really looking forward to this enlargement in the flower room. Looking at the lite rails, I really won't have to extend them very far, just enough for the lite to hit all angles of the tops. Thats one thing I really like about the rails. They get alittle better penetration in the canopy. Well I hope all are doing well and their gardens are growing great. Keepem Green

One thing I know I couldn't do without' My Miss j. She's turned into one of the best helper trimmer I ever had. The Old saying work your fingers to the bone, and what do you get? Well Trimmed Pot. She went to work and puller out this couple of Sweet Teeth we had. Wow sounds like a busy day at the dentist office.
Pickings.JPG

The Flower room. It's coming along slowly. That's my fault, Bill's been chomping at the bit, but I work slow, like a plants seems to grow the last week before harvest. But in reality, there is now hurry. I have the green house for vegging now, and the whole room will be empty for renovation in acouple weeks. Still acouple things we can get ready before the other lite and ventilation system go in. I'm wondering what the fans going to sound like in there, or if it's too to large a fan and needs a dimmer switch. I know I need a thermostat in there also. All these little 50$ and 100's I still got to go. Well I know we with get it dialed in once we start. We will 'get er dun'. Well Keep em Green All

Well been afew since I been bye and thought I'd share a minute or two. Well Went to Skagway. Hey that's the only place the sun really came out, but all in all I loved Alaska. We ate and ate, I had a few ice cold ones of course and we lost afew dollars of course. But it was one pretty trip. I felt sorry for Janet though, we had left 3 Vantage's going, and one Sweet Tooth in the flower room. I had Billie turn the lights out after the final flush for 48 hours and she came home to alot of trimming. Once again the Vantage is a fast flower. These are 60 days...And hard as rocks. The Sweet Tooth is about 6 days more into flower than the last one. And the bud's do like the 60 day mark, alot more than the company claimed at 45. Truth, could bee 2 -3 more days to really done. Well we will see. I got one 'on the hoof' now. Here's a peek;
Sweet_Tooth4.JPG

That's a tad of the work Janet did. She had 4 'done' plants waiting on her. But then I was shocked at what grew when we was gone. It's one thing to see a garden grow daily, but to leave for a week WOW. Tomatoes flowering and strawberries getting hella big, cept the holes the squirrels leave, but that's another story. Well we have had some BS weather again. Not nothing like Joplin Mo got, 'WOW' Hope best for all them folk. I was living real' close to it just acouple years ago. And I have been 'real' close to a tornado myself back in Arkansas. All I knew was "Freight Train" and it tore up 3 houses past mine. It wasn't anything like what hit there. 1/2 a mile wide. Bummer bad. Hope alot had shelter.
Man Tornado Alley or the Mississippi drainage system really pull's more than it's share of'em.
Well my favorite came off too Vantage. 60 days...... And Buds are wow 'ROCK HARD' I love the punch and all my friends seem to Love it. It's 'Top Shelf' And looks like solid 2 Oz's per, after a month veg, and 2 flower. Works for me and I seen a tad of mites at the finish. Good thing Miss J has good eyes now cus I didn't see the Caterpillar damage we had on acouple plants. Hey, I lost a whole crop once to 'tent caterpillars'. Didn't take but acouple days and everything was wrapped up in webbing. Sad.................................... But hey, Vantage;
Vantage-14.JPG

One thing I can't say enough, is the buds are tight. And they got the kick of a mule;
Vantage_Bud_s.JPG

Whew Miss J did alot of trimming. She was the sole distributor of 'finger hash' around here. I have pic's busting at the seams, but I'll post afew later. I tell ya,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I love a iced down one. Seems nothing can ever get it to that rite temp tho. This trip me and Miss J suffered tho was it the quest of the perfect temp for a Heinnie' But the birds beat us to it.

Hey sad thing was one day of sun the whole trip. All in all loved it but 7 days wasn't enough. We sailed Princess. Man, all I can say is wow them some BIG Ship's. Don't matter when you are far enough away to see the ship, they look small. Try getting on one. Well 6 swimming pool's on the top deck. Opp p's then there's the Hot Tub's. The one armed bandits were the tightest I ever seen. Major bummer. But life. Thinking of another Cruise, maybe say high to Pop's?
I'll call first. hey never know Pop's. I haven't been out surfing 420 yet but I hope to see a 4X8 tent up and going. Full of good things.
Hope all have a good thing going. And Keep em Green

Hey Spout! :)
Come on over......I can just see you on a surf board! :rofl::rofl:
Sure glad you two had a good trip. That picture is awesome of the ice burg.

That was a nice surprise to come home to. Janet walks in and goes to work!
Nice looking buds Buddy. I hope you have a good summer this year. :thumb:

Hay Norcaliwood,

Gotta hate it when the girls finish without you :rasta:

That Vantage is picture book :yummy:

I've got 20g squirrel control for our maters. Mrs Horse keeps it loaded ;)

Looks like you kept it green :goodjob:

Yea they insist on flowering. Guess they on a time frame. This is a strain I got as 1 seed freebie and this will be the 4th generation I've grown. I ordered some more seed stock. 5 Vantage's and 5 Vintage, which is the mother of Vantage. It's suppose to finish atad earlier. We'll see. I love this bud. It grows soild rocks and finnishs in 60 easy. This is 60 day old stuff here, and 1-2 hits gets ya a nice buzz.;
Harvest28.JPG

Here's afew more. You can see wha happened to acouple in 2 weeks of no sun. But the vantage is growing away;
Vantage8.JPG

Here's the only Vantage that hasn't run into the flower mode yet. ;
Vantage-15.JPG

Sorry I've not been posting or replying much. I guess I'm going thru a phase. The Flower room is bout ready. Billie got the wiring and alot of the setup done all thats left is the exhaust fan. I'm hoping a passive intake will work. I've had the floor vent disconnected so I can see under the house and thats bout the coolest place here. But I may have to put a booster fan on it. I have that 6" ho Fan. One thing bout them is they do make noise. I'm planing on a speedster switch and a thermostat switch with the fan so in will run on a variable speed. I'll start a new flower journal after everything gets togather. Thanks for stopping bye y'all. Oh
I do have a couple ideas for my outdoor's this year. This here is a Iced Grapefruit I started form seed. She's been outside alot and got alittle leggy, but I think that will help in the long run. This one's going into the 35 gallon pot. I can see another monster like last years one's. I grew acouple of them inside. They grew some nice spears on her so I got a feeling she might be comprable to Church outside. '"Maybe' bigger Donkey Dicks'
Long_John_s.JPG

Well Tahts all thats happening here, same old same old. Oh That bowl of bud is abouth 6 oz's off 3 small plants. The smoke is top shelf tho.
Keepem Green

Well I know I haven't kg up much with my thread. Afew things going on in life rite now and I haven't been up to sitting on the pc; BUT I been growing............. Kind of trying out the new flower room tweaking in the last few things. Temp's will be the problem of course. 2 - 1,000 watters throw off alittle heat. Even the ballasts raise the ambient temp. Well I'm trying a 6" HO Can Fan. Without the duct work on temp's are borderline but humidity is way downnnnnnnnnnnn;;;;
Temp_s.JPG

If it keeps here but summer is coming. I run my lites rum 9 pm to 9 am, using the coolest time of day anyways. Well as temp's climb, I 'Might' have to put duct work back up. Least I got i ready to. Here's the lite setup I'm running;
Lites.JPG

They are both on 3' of lite rail, if needed. I really like the rails going, even 12". It makes the lites hit the plant at different angles. Rails came with 6' of track, but I can't see the need rite now. Those hoods throw a nice up to 5X5 footprint.
Rite now I have 8 Vantage plants going. Acouple clones are throwing out alot of three leafers and look like Lavenders 'Duck Foot' plants she grew. But them just got a oder for new stock. I got Vantage x 5, and it's mother strain, Vintage x 5 Fems. They kicked in a Armageddon and a Northern Lite's Freebie. Miss J was shopping around the pc and she bought like 30$ from a vendor and hit it great on this months promo. 12 free seeds. A Connie Chung in there too. Well that helps alot. She was shopping for a Pipe and some new ashtrays.
Well weather broke here. Sun shining almost makes wonder if it's spring or summer. Man Oregon has had one of the worst seasons for rain in a long time. But the lite at the end of the road shows her face;

People here know her as Mount Hood. Sure is a pretty backdrop. Well Hope all are Keeping their Grass Green, or whatever colors your flowers show.
And Pop's, You won't be jealous of any inside grow. Your going to adapt well to your grow inside. We hope the Woman is feeling better. My and Miss J send our best.....

Thanks Pop's the upgrade is great,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but heat is becoming a issue. I guess when they lite up tonite I'm going to hook up the duct work. Hopefully I don't have to get a air conditioner, but it's looking like it. Temps got up close to 90 at first lite. The outside temp was over 80. Oh well, I'll find out tonite.
In the mean while, I have afew contenders for outside space. They all got atad leggy in the bad weather we've had but the IcedGrapeFruit won a spot. Here's a peek she's in 30 gallons of Black gold with alittle worn castings and bat. The sun's been out for 2 days and she loves it;
IcedGrapeFruit.JPG

I also have a Bullshark going;
BullShark6.JPG

Also have a Exodus Cheese going;
Exodus-Cheese.JPG

This one is a Power Kush;
P-Kush.JPG

Another is Super Lemon Haze;
SLHaze.JPG

Here's a nice one I think it's a local strain. I haven't found it on a seed bank yet and I hear of it around here from afew peoples. Called Start Trek;
Star_1.JPG

This is the Cannabis Cup Winner, Tangerine Dream;
TangerineDream.JPG

Miss J wants to do a walking stick from a stalk. She's been working on one from last year. Don't ask me how she got a stem that big because I top almost all my plants. Well this year I'm doing a Wonder Woman without topping it. The last I grew last year of this was a monster. I can see a major stalk coming with this one. BTW last yea I got 1 1/2 lb's off her. I lost a 1/2 easy from bud rot. I sure hope I don't have to cut down ANY monsters tis year;
WonderWoman3.JPG

Well I feel I'm running alittle long winded. I hope are good and thanks for looking in and Keep em Green

Ahh Norcal, you have been a busy bee this spring/summer eh. Looking great. Wish that I had the space to do as many outside as you do. One day! Just wanted to say hi as I have been MIA for awhile. Keepem Green.

BTW: Climbed her more than once. That mtn DEMANDS respect, even if you are only climbing Southside/Hogsback.

Hey Sprout!:)

Sounds like an AC is in order for you in the new room. Well, you do have 2000 watts in there. :) You sure come by some strains I don't have. The out doors girls are looking good. Always nice green and healthy. Where do you get the vantage, been looking for it. Buddy I hope you have a good summer this year.
I want to see your giants touching the sky! Take care old buddy.:high-five:

Hi Miss J! :high-five:

Hello Veldrone, Sisco, and Pop's. Thanks for the good vibes. Yea Pop's them freebies can increase the strain numbers. I still opt for the vantage myself. Shes a short flowering time plant and the description about the plant is on the money. I wood recommend it to anyone. Harvests around 2 Oz's per. Not a big harvest but a worthwhile one for sure. It does get better with a month of cure time.
You can gettem thru any other seed vendor. Worth the space in my eyes.
And Pop's Miss J has like 12 freebies coming. All are fem seeds, cept 4 reg's are involved. So that's like 10 more strains to pick from. Well Thanks for driving in ya'll I got to run 'more tests' Oh well. All Keep em Green

Opps didn't link up, the seeds are thru CH-9. Not too costy tho. Got a feeling I'll have it for awhile. I've just started a auto flowering Big Bang, a Northern Lites, and a Armageddon. And All cracked overnite. I know I have alot of differnts growing outside this year. 1st year
'NO CHURCH'. I had 1 seed left and figgures it didn't crack. I do plan on getting somemore in the near future. But I've grown the Grapefruit before. And it seemed to have larger buds on it. Soooo hopefully the sun god will shine on my backyard this year.
OHHHH scarey thing last nite, someone broke in my nieghbors shed/greenhouse next door. Took stuff like a back pack and stuipid stuff. We figgure it was his 'my neighbor's' son. He's a tweaker and hense hangs with tweaker friends. He doesn't live there but does store his stuff there. Good thing we have 12' evergreens between us and you can't hardly see our yard from there. Sure hope they don't come back around. First thing I thought was Recon. But I really doubt it. Dude wasn't all that smart. Well all
Keepem Green

Wellllllllll something kind of new here,,,,,, I started a new strain. Well acouple new ones but I always wanted to see what a auto flower will do if it's harvested early Sept. Well got one going. Along with the Armageddon. Don't look like the Northern Lites is going to pop from the dirt, but it did crack rather fast and sure looked aggressive in growth. Oh well never count a seed out till the fat lady sings. Least I don't. But here she is in all her glory;
Big_Bang_Auto.JPG

I also put a new Vantage seed and a Vintage seed in the paper towels atop the cable box. I can use some new mother plants. Well everything is growing great we even had alittle sun. I had sent a link OMM but politics are in order, I guess. Well all enjoy and Keep em Green

Well I'm still plugging away here. Started acouple outdoor ones. My Iced Grapefruit, well shes about 3' plus, and sun has just started to shine. She's in 35 Gallons of Black Gold soil, and feed BC fert's every other watering. I also supplement with worn and bat shit. From the looks shes going to be a monster. I'm hoping for some serious herb weights off her. I see a kilo on the hoof;
IGrapefruit.JPG

And; here she is with the 'old yard stick' which she outgrew acouple weeks ago;
Igrapefruit-1.JPG

I also have Miss J's walking stick on the hoof. I didn't top her and shes doing her part. Well I can see a 5' of usable stalk for her. It's called Wonder Woman and I've done her last year. Shes a BIG Indo for sure. I got about a kilo last year off her even with the bit of Bud Rot I had to deal with. But I do recommend this strain for anyone up here in the PNW. Seems to handle the moisture well enough;
Wonder_Woman13.JPG

Shes got another couple good months to veg so she has a chance on being a nice 10' X-mas tree.
WonderWoman-1.JPG

Man shes sure got the STRONG Indo look. I was shocked when she got as big as she did last year. I know shes capable of making a massive single cola on top her. We shall see. Well I hope everyones garden is green and Keepem Green
