Just read some veryyyy interesting stuff about using voodoo juice and pirhana in conjunction with molasses....

I came across a couple CFL sockets a little supplemental lighting for little goldie for now.
If necessary I can set a couple up for flower time as well. The baby boards should be I this week I just need to shop drivers now.

Did a quick test to see how the zoom works on the phone no loupe....
Looks to me like it does pretty well! I'm sure I will still add the loupe but combined I should get great results!

I'm just so proud of android for freeing us from, microsoft single handedly slowing technology for a decade.
Long story but microsoft is run by a group of lawyers. And anytime anyone came up with a good idea microsoft threatened to sew them for infringing on one of the thousand of copywrites they own but by law they dont have to tell you what one till your in court. So they gave an option ..sell us what you have or we will sew you into the ground. Even if you are in the right Microsoft could afford to drag it out for years and they have more money than anybody they are going against.
Single handedly halted tech. Advance.
Then google showed up and started mass producing the same programs microsoft was selling and giving them away for free. With in a couple years technology was back to outgrowing itself every six months.
Anyway I feel like I phone did have the money to fight Microsoft's attempt to monopolize software and instead just mimiced the techniques Microsoft used and implemented their own system of the same thing..

They only give us the tech they think we can handle or the tech that can "handle" us.
We just took our little girl to the ped. And a standard question for a toddler (not even 18 months old) is how many hours a day of tablet and phone time does your child get? I'm like hmmm 0!
They are finding out more bad more the adverse effects of too much tech on children's developing minds. I feel like they have known all along and their goal has always been to have us starting at screens all day that mess with our Neuro transitions, and dopamine levels until we our hoplessley addicted to their products. And will listen to any and all be they feed us instead of actually having to research, ask questions, and investigate our own truths. That's how I see it anyways. Call me a conspiracy theorist but time will tell. Haha
We did no TV until 2 with both our kids (no phones until they were about 12). Of course now you can barely get the phone out of their hands! But at least they got a good start

The boards are back in town! Went to take the trash and dog out and the mail man was here with a surprise
I just need to figure out how I want to configure them around "Christina" (yes, that's the name of my current LED panel, and you would have to see the video to undersrand) or if I even will. I will either: put one on either side of the light I have now, or just throw them both over Gloria and her scrog to maximize her potential in flower.
Regardless they will be run at 60 watts each and mounted on a frame to help disperse heat. My smallest fan will also be allocated to offer a cool breeze. I plan to power them with 60 watt, 24 volt, rated drivers. One for each separate unit. Hopefully I can have them ordered in just over a week
According to the specs each unit covers approximately 2 x 2 (ft.) In veg and 1 × 2 in flower. The spectrum is tuned to 3000k in order to supply sufficient red wavelengths to promote budding.
I'm hoping the combined 250 watts at the wall of combined led power will suffice to see me through the first harvest. And yes I know that wattage is a poor measurement of led potential but throw me a bone people . If necessary I can add 2 cfls in dark spots to supplement where necessary as well.
The seed I popped last Friday has popped and has a nice healthy tap root forming. I may have to be a little rough with her to slow her down until I can flip the other girls. She will likely be quite bushy by the time we flip her . But I am hoping to get some pollen from a clone of Gloria to cross with this seedling so long as she displays desirable qualities.

Shoot you and Arctic bowl were the ones who inspired me to go this route!! Led guy has been very helpful walking me through stuff as well. Time to see what 2 3000k QB 120s can do over a 32" x 20" scrogged out plant

Okay I did a little "pre flush" which is what I do every 2 or 3 waterings aka feedings.
Simply add as small amount of cal mag extra to my filtered fridge water. And give each girl a quarter gallon. This is to ensure oxygenated water is always in the res. Also it helps flush salts away from above the res. Tomorrow I will lean the containers to allow some of water to flow out. Carrying away whatever the flush washed into the res. And when I feed tomorrow I won't have to water to extreme runoff.
Side note:
In hempy, growers are encouraged to water to a high amount of runoff every time to avoid salt build up. I just see that as a huge waste of good nutes. Instead of just dumping what is essentially costly nute solution down the drain to ensure salts are washed away, why not use free water to do the flushing then micro feed the following day? This allows for the hempy to reach its full potential while not wasting tons of money. It also allows me to water more frequently. For those growing in a hempy that is pure perlite especially I can't see how watering every 2 or 3 days offers any benefit when the medium above res is dry after a few hours and roots essentially dry and self prune before reaching their water source. The equivalent of dwc with no airstone. Scary! I see this with many hempy grows. Weak under developed root systems. Also why I advocate for coco above the res. My methods and madness are unproven but I'm hoping the proof will be in the pudding and evident post harvest. I'm hoping I can push the limits of what can be done in a hempy bucket.

DIY watering ring. Coat me 4dollars and change probably far less anywhere other than where I live.
I will have to fiddle with the hole placements tomorrow to make sure the drip is even .
