Themaddabber's Hempy Bucket Bathtub Grow 2017

Do they hook up any free seeds by chance?
I didn't get any, but the beans have all popped and they are vigorous as all get out.
I stunted my TD, had 16 days veg and I'm pretty sure I'll still get a zip or two

I'm about to dump a bunch of photos in my journal

I think I am going to try gorilla this time around so many free seeds.... And 15% bitcoin discount. I like it. And they're a sponsor as well

But all that will have to wait!!! Gotta go order my baby boards :)

Okay were back from commercial break with breaking update! ...Well, a bending update!

It's gonna be a white Christmas as AB text me yesterday What a jokester.

The q boards have been ordered! I will look at drivers so I can order one or 2 at the beginning of next month.

I really want to order some beans for my birthday. Only like 5 or 6. We will have to wait and see. The dog was technically my present.

Well I'll be back around this evening.

Until then may your plants prosper and buds swell!

I don't understand the bitcoin thing. Why would anyone want to keep a "currency" in their "wallet" that is going to be worth a different amount every time they "open" it?

If you want to invest in it like a commodity, I get it. But to get it to spend? I'm sure I'm missing something.
I dunno I had 5 bucks left from my transaction and its like almost 15. The money in your wallet does the exact same thing. Currency trading? It's just that this currency isn't centralized and offers privacy from the corrupt savages running the world.

Hey, I'm glad you made money on your bitcoin investment, but it also could have been worth $1! The currency traders have no effect on the money in my wallet, as its value doesn't change based on a bunch of arbitrage guys sitting at desks in London. They may have a long term effect on the price of imports/exports, but if I have $5 and your seeds are $5, I can buy them. If tomorrow I only have $1 then I can't!

Just saying it's not a currency really as much as it is a commodity that some people will take in payment. Kinda like the old barter system before money was invented. I have a sheep and need flour and milk. My sheep is worth less if everyone has one and more if only I have one. Currency was created to facilitate and equalize transactions across the society. Bitcoin is more sheep than cash.

That's just the way I see it anyway :)

Very true. I didn't technically invest. I just had 5 or 6 dollar in bitcoin left over after I got my seeds and figured I would let it ride. 300% growth is great if you ask me. Granted I would never spend a significant amount of money on bitcoin as an actual investment. But if 10 percent growth in a year is considered amazing 300 must be something special....

When the stock market crashed and there was a run on the bank your wallet wasn't worth much. I'm willing bet all the money in my bank that within the next 10 years (15 max ) there will be no more paper money. Certianly no more large bills produced. My point is the government controls all the money in your wallet, and in your bank. They control it's worth. That's why you should always diversify. I figure having some bit coin won't be a bad thing. Same with physical gold.

I guess I think of it like this.... I'll take a little bit of all the goods and services and a bit of each currency so when the day comes when big brother cock blocks all of our wallets and money I won't be totally screwed.

But again I'm not advocating that bit coin or any other crypto currency should be a hedge against a market crash or financial recession but I don't see the harm in a very small investment that could potentially pay out in spades.

I see What your saying. I consider bit coin more of a commodity than a currency.

And like they always say, "Past results are no indication of future performance." Holds true for bitcoin as well. The Chinese have entire server farms dedicated to churning it out!
In China's Hinterlands, Workers Mine Bitcoin for a Digital Fortune - The New York Times

Anyway, bitcoin discount makes sense from the seed vendor's perspective! I'm sure they save on credit card transaction fees and they prob think it's a commodity that's going to appreciate as well.
Oh I know. Very good point you make there haha! I don't think I would ever have made, and certianly never will, make an actual investment in it. But I do like the idea of there being a limited amount! Unlike some countries who just print money to manipulate currency and GDP.

I haven't learned how to quote multiple posts, but thank you shed! I'm honestly really jealous you got that gold leaf clone! It supposed to be a superb strain :) have you run photos yet? I think you'll do great with them!

There are a couple guys here at 420 that invested in bitcoin, $300 usd i believe. They wait until the value goes up to say $400 then they buy a few seeds worth $100 including shipping and they get freebies to boot. They just continue that cycle waiting for the price to go up before they buy.

You mean like the Chinese are doing with bitcoin AND their Renminbi!

I haven't learned how to quote multiple posts

Click the little icon on the bottom right of each post that looks like a speech bubble with a + sign next to it as you go down the list of posts you want to reply to. When you get to the last one in your list, click it for that one too and then click "Reply with Quote"

Took me a while to figure that one out!

Thanks! I've only done autos so this is gonna be brand new for me. And with a 10 month veg and height restrictions, it's going to be a challenging first time!

Works great until it goes down (if it ever does!)
