Was great to meet up yesterday!!! The 420 family is alive and well in the great white north and we are honered to be able to hook a new family member up, can’t be going to the shops buying all the time unless you have one of those never ending wallets.......lol, they are very hard to come by these days :rofl:

Yes, AB I really enjoyed meeting you getting and to talk shop yesterday! Thanks for stopping by my thread . Things have been a little slow this week with Gloria recovering from her top. Abbie may need a little flush I think her nitrogen levels got a little high. Hoping to really see them take off this week.

And thank you again for helping me out. If you ever need anything at all please don't hesitate to ask. I'm only five or six minutes down the road. Looks like we may get snow overnight? Winter is coming quick :)

Okay time for the Sunday fun day update ☺

Temps seem to be in a good range. Typically between 68 and 77 min and max. But 70 to 75 is the norm for the most part. Humidity is between 50 and 65 percent.

Here's Gloria tomorrow she will be 4 weeks. I plant to let her grow nice and big so she still has plenty of time to mature before we flip her.

She's really taking off below the top! Just plan on letting her bulk up a bit more then scrogging her.

Just pinned her down earlier and she didn't even notice. So we'll run her out sideways top her at the end of the torture rack and spread her healthy shoots outward and back the direction they came from.

Looks great Them! If Goldie were mine I'd cull those flowers growing at the base and let her focus all her precious energy on the top cola (not the fans, just the flowers). If we're going to let something this tiny flower we might as well end up with at least one smokeable bud!

Just stopping by to check out the girls :-)
We upcanned a few girls tonight and took some clones so 10-14 days and they should be good to go..... then we will get a few more going and your welcome to grab a few for sure from both runs dude. Shit gets to fun and space gets to small lmfao.....but I wanna pop a few more beans but can’t yet lol, hate waiting because I wanna check out some others we been holding back on. Great problem too have though lol.

Looking really nice!! How long did it take your seeds/clone to get the roots to the reservoir? I have some hempy pots I am trying to do and the one in the bigger(3.5 gal) pot is taking forever to grow. It is 1/4 inch out of the rockwool cube and looks healthy but damn is it going slow compared to the same plants I started in solo cups with soil. I am watering twice a day to try and get the roots to grow down to the res but so far it's crawling.

Hey apache!

Honestly I chose not to start my plants in a hempy container because I am a firm believer in root development. I chose to use a perlite soil coco mix and keep it rather dry to really get the roots searching early. I'm sure if my temps were in better ranges it would have been even more successful.

I can't remember are you using pure perlite above res? I'm pretty sold on the half coco half perlite personally!

Anyways I haven't really answered your question. I transplanted Gloria from a container that was half a solo cup, maybe slightly larger, directly to the 3 gallon but had a lot root development. With a seedling it may take longer. My guess is that it was about 5 days for her. At least That's when her growth went overdrive, and I attribute that to reaching the res. It's tricky because the starter cube or rock wool will retain a lot more moisture than the surrounding perlite so often some of the root system will be wet and other parts dry. I would suggest only watering on the starting medium once it gets more dried out and you can water the more perlite in small amounts more often and see if that helps some.

I'm starting to ramble now a little but so long as they look happy just stick with it and have faith. Remember what you see above surface in the beginning is a fraction of what's going on sub surface! Once the roots establish it's off to the races
 
I have officially started some training on Gloria. More like draped a couple pieces of hemp string over her head to weigh down the 2 faster growing arms on the FIM. I also lassoed the growth below where I mistakenly snipped a fan leaf and tugged it that direction.

Your wish is my command! It's really not much I just want more direct light on the other top growths and to replace the half node with the 2 arms below

That's the weaker FIM growth in the center. I want to give it a chance to catch the other 2 arms.

I may not even keep these arms but if they want a fighting chance it would have to be on this side to provide ample light.
