TheBlaze's Multi-Strain Grow In Coco & 600W HPS

UPDATE

7 weeks! Just 2 weeks left for most of the plants. The Superb OG and 2 kushes will go a little longer though.

Buds are swelling nicely now, as they prepare to finish off. The smell is very strong now, completely overpowering the carbon filter. What a great smell it is though. Outside the tent it smells like coffee, caramel and over ripe fruit.

I had to stake the larger Exodus Kush. Branches flopping about everywhere, and resting on her neighbours. Will need to put it some more stakes though.

The PM on the untopped WR is getting bad now. Almost every leaf has it. I did a fairly heavy defol on her, but hasn't really helped. She is the furthest along though and will be done in 2 weeks. So I'm going to try and hold out until then. Will definitely be using peroxide in the bud wash though.

The last 2 photos are of the untopped WR, and you can see the PM on her leaves.

Isn't there some kind of law to stop the clinically retarded from taking office in government? if not there should be one lol!

Haha so the guy was hiring & firing a 'finance minister' on a daily basis, that's one way at least to upset the markets. Perhaps it was deliberate, he was betting on the downturn...you never know with these bastards!

Yeah, it should be illegal. There should be a compulsory IQ test as well psychometric test. I mean, it's a just a country you're running... into the ground. Africa always wins.

That's a little tough to do though. Those photos are deceiving. That tent is packed. The angel somehow makes it look like there is still plenty of space. Strange...
 
Hey Brother Blaze,

Sorry about the PM but. The one time I had it it was on an 11-week plant and it only showed on the big main colas. I tossed those. The rest of the plant looked healthy. I wonder if it was a different variety or something from what you have. You could try to give them a foliar there should be some products available at your hydro store. I don't know what is available in sa but here there's quite a few products that we can purchase to try and combat something like that. If it truly is powdery mildew I would chop that son of a b**** right now and put it in the trash can if the whole plant is effected. From what I understand you don't want to smoke that stuff. Just my two cents.

It's a shame because it really looks healthy. All the ladies look fantastic to me. :circle-of-love:

Luckily it's not all that bad. Can't see any on the buds, and tonight I will spray with a hydrogen peroxide solution. Then when I chop, the bud washing will remove what little might be left. So it's not great, but it is salvageable at least.

It's good to have you back around these parts Bob. (strange how I try to switch to americanese when on this forum. LOL! Just noticed it now. I never talk like that.)

White Rhino is my first love. I only started smoking just over 3 years ago, and was lucky enough to start with the good stuff. White Rhino was the first strain that gave me that "WOW" feeling. I tried to grow it a few years back, but that grow failed. So finally I get to grow it, and I'm liking what I see.

The Sour Chiesel is the strongest stuff in my stash. Great smell and taste. I will purchase some more beans soon. I just hope it is a stable strain.

I will definitely be doing what you suggested. Going to spray the plants tomorrow morning just before lights out with an H2O2 solution. That combined with bud washing, and I should be good.
 
UPDATE

Day 51 of 12/12

Sprayed the plants with H2O2 this morning before lights out. It was more work than I expected, so only did 4 of the 6, but they are the worst of them. The 2 kushes haven't been sprayed yet, but they are not badly affected. Will do them tomorrow morning.

I took quite a few pics. Just bare in mind that they don't look quite as sparkly because I literally drenched them.

Dang dang digitty blaze, looking stellar. To be honest I wouldn't know they even had a problem if you hadn't said something. Love the pic where the buds are bending the branches from the weight. That's a sure sign of success. Stellar job my friend!

Thanks Doc. Hopefully there won't be a problem anymore. I have given this grow my all. Looks like it might end on a high note. We can only hope.

That big "sativa" girl is ugly but still epic. She is hard work, but at least this diva puts out. LOL!

Thanks Miller. I'm very curious to see what they look like tonight once they've had a chance to dry out. Can't wait to buy my new lights in a few weeks. I'm going to hit the next 6 plants with 1200w and see how they respond to that.
 
I bet they will love you for the extra wattage Blazer! I've heard they're is such a thing as too much light but I've never seen it lol. Only worry will be heat. Maybe enclosed hoods venting directly out side. I think they call it an enclosed system. :high-five:
