TheBlaze's LED & HPS Grow - Coco & Perlite

Thanks Miller! I just finished feeding the girls and at least they have grown visibly since this morning, so that is a relief. They still look great. Turned up the power on the HPS now as well, so we are now at the full 1020w. Let's see what they look like tomorrow morning. I will have an update then.

Nice, you ballast runs 1020? I get +5%, 420, 630, 1050, not sure I've seen 2% boost, I've seen some at 10%. Rock on Blaze.

Cheers

Legalization... that is my dream. I can't think of anything better. Would probably need to grease some palms though to get a license. This is Africa, and nothing happens without the necessary corruption tax. Anyway, one step at a time. For now, I will just focus on these 6 ladies.

The corruption thing is worldwide.. The underprivileged countries have more a bribe corrupt system, where the privileged have the same system, but they call it licences and contracts...somebody gots to get the $$$$

I am also from South Africa, but think the people will sell the medical license just as they do a car driver license, for R600 all done and dusted :laughtwo: I agree with Blaze it would be lekker to have that over here, personally I would like the whole idea of legally growing your own number of plants. Obviously kept at a sensible number. On the other hand if they do legalize it here they will tax the EFF out of us, now I know why EFF was fighting in parliament

Should be OK. I'd watch the whole plant for nanners more than normal over the next week - then you are probably clear. Check down low between the stem and forming buds for nanners too. Early flower light stress tends to pop nanners down lower or mid-plant. I find that later stress, usually shows at the tops. I wonder if anyone else has had the same observation, or the opposite lol. :Namaste:

That sounds solid in my experience CareStaker! I've had balls and nanners. Balls usually show up pretty early down low. Top bud nanners are very slow to appear. Not sure if it's directly connected to the time the stress happened though. I'm more of the opinion that early stress can manifest itself in any number of ways anytime during the grow. As legalization happens, we'll see a lot more research that will clear up a lot of Qs we have!:Namaste:

It is 10% Miller, but I added the 360w for LED as well. So all together it totals 1020w.

Nice, I'm doing ok at 420 watts bare bulb in the summer so far, I could flower at 630 watts but not ready yet. Lights off 1145 till 1800, at 17 h 45 min of light a day. Work with what you got my friend.

Cheers

Just want to say thanks to all the guys here for chiming in with some good info on what to look out for in the next few weeks. I have a feeling I'm in the clear here, but will obviously have to make sure I don't make any more stupid mistakes like that. I almost left the tent open this morning. What the hell is going on with me lately. LOL! I'm not the type to make constant stupid mistakes. I did have a rough weekend, and still suffering from vertigo after my time on the boat. Maybe it's that. I don't know.

UPDATE

Day 4 of 12/12

I'm guessing I might have stalled them a bit due to leaving LED lights on. Doesn't look like it though. They have still packed on some decent size.

Looks like Growlow might be right on the money when he said the Lemons would catch up. They are now the same size as the others, and look set to explode and overtake them in the next 2 - 3 weeks.

The 2 big plants at the bottom of the pic are the ones that were topped twice. They are considerably wider and bushier. Think I will top all plants twice from now on.

I was just browsing through the last few pages and it truly bites that some of you still have deal with drug testing or even random road stops where you live and especially in this day & age as that's just ridiculous from where I'm sitting and it's like looking back at the stone ages to some extent & I apologize for on behalf of all mankind who are blind as to what's wrong & right, well except for all of us here at 420 Magazine that is.:laughtwo:

Fight the good fight mates and maybe someday they'll awake!:thumb:

Yeah, topping changes structure for the better yielding plants. Looks great Blaze.

Cheers
