Hey doc! It's kind of hard to tell. My allegiance keeps changing. LOL! I can't shake the feeling that the LC-OG is going to be stellar. If I rub the stalk close to a top, the smell is quite pungent. A sour, lemon fuel smell. It doesn't get better than that in my opinion. The Blue Venom still smells green in comparison. I think the next 2 weeks should give us a better indication.

Thanks for the great compliment Cola! I just hope I get a decent stretch on them. The stretch should start soon and then I will have a better idea of where they might end up. Either way, I'm happy they are happy.
 
Thanks guys! Being unable to share my grow with most of the friends and family in my life, it is always nice to come on here and share with you guys and then get such positive feedback. Makes a man feel proud. Especially when the guys giving the feedback are excellent growers from the other side of the globe. Much appreciated!

I will say it was a little weird the 1st time I showed my grow to my mother and to my sisters who do not partake in MJ but oh what a feeling it is to be legal, hope someday soon you too will have that option on the table
 
Legalization... that is my dream. I can't think of anything better. Would probably need to grease some palms though to get a license. This is Africa, and nothing happens without the necessary corruption tax. Anyway, one step at a time. For now, I will just focus on these 6 ladies.

Tell me about it mate, I dream about that shit! Here is Aus is similar but we're making steps and getting there. Although way too slowly if you ask me
 
You guys seem to be a few steps ahead of us. It's crazy to think that South Africa, a country with a cannabis culture dating back hundreds of years, would be so slow to reform. There are whispers though, so there is hope.

Maybe one or two steps but not far. Things are pretty backwards here. They make out like we're at the forefront of innovation and what not but we're far from it when you look at the reality of things

ILLEGAL in all forms.
They're talking about legalization for medicinal purposes but they're still in "trials" and its only for very specific, chronic illnesses.
Its not seen as a cure for cancer only an aid to help with chemo

We have random drug tests on the roads now that test drivers for cannabis and Meth. But only detects presence, not amount. So even if you smoked a week ago you can still get done with driving under influence of drugs. Its fucked up!

Only good thing is they don't put you in prision for small amounts of weed usually and anything under 6 plants is considered non commercial which is max $5000 fine or something
 
I see what you mean. No real difference then between SA and Aus. Except no drug testing here. The first step for us will likely also be strictly for medicinal purposes, and then only for chronic illnesses as you mentioned above. I just hope they allow joe public to apply for licenses and don't sell out to the highest bidder.
 
Big pharma is making sure they get in a take a big chunk. I'm just hoping some common sense gets used. However we sell the best agricultural land in the world to overseas mining companies for quick, short gain so I can't see any sense being used in this subject either
 
I'm fairly sure test shows last two hours.. I had it about two years ago, blue plastic stick scraped saliva off tongue.. I'm a heavy smoker and thought I was fooked.. I was actually in town buying nutrients, lol.. two hour drive, cones before leaving and got all clear..

I had a similar experice when they first came out several years ago myself but according to some reports this new generation of tests is different. However I could be wrong and they may be only rare instances. Although I do remember when they first brought it out years ago it was plagued with problems and inaccuracies. Plus it differed from state to state.
Either way its pretty shit that we have them

I made a really stupid mistake and left the LED lights on all day, so the plants haven't had their 12 hours of dark. I can't stand it when I do stupid shit like this.

What's the worst that could happen from this?
 
worst that "could" happen is hermies, 1 skip wont make them reveg just dont do it again , you wont even get any herms prob mate just theres always a chance , continue on as usual with your schedule brother
