For sure, but when there is that much smoke there is usually a fire. Having said that, I still want to try his Deadhead.
One of the most magestic plants I've ever grown was an original sour diesel from Cali connection.. magnificent plant.. wasn't into it as a smoke,just was not my thing but I know a lot would love it..
Mmm..was doing some strain research on the locomotion x GSC, I got. The GSC is a calicon one and suppose to be the thin mint pheno but people are calling his suspect. However can't imagine Sun wasting his time with crappy plants so looking forward to what comes out.
The one thing I've really enjoyed reading up about strains is how they all come from a few landraces and have been bred from there. Maybe one day I can breed some local Kei into something great. Or my other plan is to take some of the really bad locally grown weed called jhat or jut and pheno hunt like a mofo for breeding stock.

Good plants are where you find them. DNA Genetics doesn't get much respect on the other forum I frequent, but I've grown out some beautiful plants from their lineup.
I've read lots but does it come from the crews using mainly chem genetics? My bet is that it does... yeah smoke fire also where theres a fire raging, people try and smoke it out... I could make your thread 10 pages bigger with disses of the genetics I use. Houses of straw sticks and bricks. If your big popoular or holding shit others think you don't deserve,hopefully you live in a house built of bricks..

and yes, it was the chem crew. So I get what you're saying now 100%. It's very hard trying to figure out all the politics. Having said that though, if there is too much BS around one particular breeder... I generally tend to steer clear.

when you know the whole shit storm (only from reading) I don't want to come in and start argument or the like, I just want to give another point of view to contemplate.. i dont diss other breeders, strains yes not the breeders. I feel it's like trying to either pass off your own incompetence or giving in to your jealousy, who wouldn't want to make a name for themselves as a breeder with skill.

Yeah I've heard alot of bad press with his shit, but I'm more than happy with these sour og so I can't complain really.. The test will tell though, if it tastes as good as it looks and smells imma be a happy bunny. Definitely gonna order me some regs tho, just don't have the inventory for much more shit at the mo i need a bigger veg vent, should have asked Santa for one. .

Yeah reading up on that chemdog thread showed me that pretty much every damn forum you join regardless of subject matter has a bun fight going on.
Also its freakin weird that just popping a seed you got from somewhere makes you entitled to a strain or people taking credit for it. I mean yeah cool story and all on you popping those bag seeds but the growers of the said bag seed did all the work imo.

I will say, his sour diesel doesn't herm unless you stress it to.. I was glad I read what stress causes it after my second herm

Ah yes... the humidity issue? I've recently seen a Reserva Privada sour diesel in flower. It looks so fucken delicious, and has those funny sugar leaves you see on chem strains. I want to give that a bash some time as well. Can't wait for my OG#18 to arrive. That is, if it makes it through customs this time.

New Blue Diesel. About 4 weeks old. I really hope this one is a she. My favourite so far.
Strawberry Diesels at 16 days old.
Veg tent looking much better after some transplanting to 5 gal fabric pots.
Purple Envy mother in flower tent. Thursday the 21st.

Oh sheet, flowering out the PE mother. That's going to be a beast surely. Do you just pot all your seedlings in bigger pots regardless if you know its a female or male? Do you recycle the soil the males where in?

Let's hope so. I took 6 cuts from her. Had to throw in the flower tent. There just isn't enough space for her now. The clones are looking good so far though.
