Strawberry Diesel : (fireball pheno)
Bag appeal - 7/10
Smell - 7.5/10
Taste - 9/10
High - 8/10
Total - 31.5
Strawberry Amnesia : (queen sativa pheno)
Bag appeal - 9/10
Smell - 8/10
Taste - 7/10
High - 9/10
Total - 33
Strawberry Amnesia wins, but I think I could do a better job of growing the strawberry diesel. I have 4 beans left. Will pop them in about a week.

Thanks bud, good to know. Was the SD affected by the mites hence your statement of growing it better?

It definitely affected it, although the Purple Envy was also hit with mites, but seemed to recover quickly and carry on as if nothing happened. The SD was stalled by it. Also, I chopped too much of the mains away. It lost support, and with those flimsy branches falling all over the place, I don't think it was able to uptake nutrients properly. Thats why the early fade, and diminished resin production. It will be interesting to see how it performs in the next round coming up.
Any ideas yet, or will you wait to find an exceptional male...regardless of strain.
I really want a good male. Males are far more important than the females when breeding. I have good pollen from First 48 and ATF right now just looking for the right female.
Any specific traits you look for in a male? Or is it similar to females?

Dam bro those look great i jus recently started 3 out of the 5 beans i germed from the strain im making its a cross so far anyway lol of black domina and male hindu kush skunk my plan is to add some red poison auto to the mix ive been saving the 4 beans of those i have till i get my strain dialed in a tad then ill add it in hopes of adding some purple and reds to the mix but yea ur plants look great bro what kind of light are u using

Sounds like a great cross brother. I might be dipping my toes into the breeding game soon as well. We will see in a few weeks what is/isn't cooking in some of those buds.
Currently I'm using a flexstar 1000w DE light with a gavita pro 1000w DE bulb, but dialed down to 750w. Too much heat.

Day 30 for the DMT phenos and day 27 for the GG#4 phenos of 12/12
The DMT (sour bubble) phenos are the shorter, stockier plants. They have a shorter flowering period and were also flipped 3 days before the GG#4 phenos.
