TheBlaze: Genesis, Chapter 1, Verse 1

It's not organic bud. Fuckit... going hybrid growing. :cheesygrinsmiley: It is the calmag that GT Hydro sells. It works very well, just have to watch the nitrogen spike it gives.
I use Earth Juice Micro, I don't believe it's completely organic. I've used it for MANY, many years with no issues and SWEET tasting flowers always! I use a few other products that aren't organic, but without them and foliar feeding, you aren't going to hit the HIGH brix realm. I had a few that were 19, with most in the 16-17 range and that was towards the end of the life cycle(No longer being fed). I will tell you, spraying 8 outdoor plants multiple times a week IS work(Along with drench feedings).... NO doubt... BUT the payoff is substantial.

Oh wait I see epsom salts is an "organic" magnesium supplement

Magnesium sulfate, if you use LED's it's a nice supplement to add since LED's are known to cause Cal Mag issues due to cannabis needing certain light wavelengths for specific biological processes and if there not present, Cal/Mag will substitute, or STEP in so to speak to complete the task at hand. Anyway, I have older budget LED's, and I've seen it a few times. The plant doesn't skip a beat, but you are left with UGLY leaves(depending on when you catch the Deficiency, usually rust looking spots, or crispy leaves.. probably both). I never worry because it won't affect the end result, but IT is kind of annoying.

Thanks! that is some really good info.

Yes, I'm starting to wake up to the same conclusion. I have been pumping these Dnets with calmag and the difference is noticeable. I'm going to try use GH flora bloom as a bloom booster and see what happens as well. Will only use it 2 or 3 times in flower and will follow it up with em-prosoil, which is just bennies and sugar. I don't know, I'm still undecided about that. What do you think?

Thanks bud. Had to spray the flower tent and the Dnets with a peroxide solution last night. One of my strawberry diesels busted a nut, and seeded itself and the other SD. Only noticed when trimming up the buds. Found one solitary open male flower tucked away in a bud. That's it. That's all it took.

I see you know them feels. LOL! Was pretty much exactly what I was thinking. Luckily 95% of the seeds I spotted were white and soft. Should still be decent smoke and not too much of an issue. I've had plenty indoor with seeds in them. No one really seems to bat an eyelid at it.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the peroxide used for?

Would like to hear some feedback on that, 2 days after my EHG nutes arrived they released the GH brand...would've bought them instead. Looks like we could have some Canna products available next year too. Much more of a selection now

I will definitely give feedback here Nooby. I think it will work well.

Canna should be here next year march/april.

LOL! Yeah, it will be pricey.

Personally, I would just stick with GH. They have stood the test of time, and I've seen epic grows with that stuff. A litre set of the GH flora range will run you just under R800. Not cheap, but won't break the bank either.

These plants LOVE the calcium, and Azomite IS a must USE situation. I prefer weekly feedings at lower dosages, usually in the tsp per gallon range, then the humate feeding in between, plain water if needed(If watering every two days or so early to MID flower most of the time), and repeat. I tend to push my plants, but I occasionally get a little tipping indicating there is no reason to UP the dose.

In your situation, I'm sure you could hit em more than 2-3 times during flower(good track record/results with GH, I've never used it personally, but plenty of folks have and produced nice product) depending on how you like to feed. The pictures above shows that you are doing well, especially the one where you can see that leaf shine and the purple petiole(4th pic). That's exactly what you are looking for, SUPER healthy(definitely keep using the bennies/sugar)! Keep doing what you are doing my friend and each grow YOU will surpass your previous results. OH, the thrill of experimenting with this plant IS OH so exciting. Not every idea has panned out(not necessarily failure, but not exactly a KILL it situation either), but the knowledge and experience is still valuable and you learn from it. Usually... for most of us... myself included; HARD lessons are learned and NEVER forgotten!

Thanks for the info Johnnie! I feed biobizz nutes, which are organic nutes. So I'm doing more of a soup style organic grow than proper TLO. Now I'm wondering if a few well timed synthetic nute feeds won't give me the best of both worlds, which would then be hybrid feeding. You ever done that?

Oh I didn't realize you were using Biobizz(assuming liquid and the three bottles), I vaguely remember you mentioning that. I use a few non organic products along with my EJ regimen with NO issues whatsoever unless you call FLOPPING over buds everywhere a problem. :volcano-smiley: If you do add the GH, just offset it from the Biobizz, start low and see how they react.

For sure. Will do just that. I'm thinking Monday will be my first synth feed.
