Girls are doing great, im gonna be up potting soon and flipping the lights to flower, they are quickly approaching week 8 and ready to stretch, im always curious on which one will stretch the most

Hey all, its watering time, they are light as a feather 🪶
This weekend i’ll be flippin the lights and up-potting to 5gal each.
I’ve been in buyers hell with MedicGrow, im having a hell of a time getting my damn controler. Its a great lite, really powerful, tested and true, but they lack good communication with customers….nuf said

With the up-pot and lots of food eventually available, they should be happy the next 8-9wks

Gonna start bringing down the humidity, I actually have to run the humidifier to keep it here, its a crazy competition in my tent. Humidity, heat, humidifier. The basement is around 46% but unless theses little 4” fans are full blast i can never get “in-tent” humidity that low….

I bet a pair of 8” fans could bring it down into the 40% region 😂😂😂😂😂

I did a little more LST there are some eager beaver bud sites that wanna start stretching before the lites switch, my guess by the weekend they should have some roots in the new soil and possibly the nutes will have turned to food and they can get that deeper green color they had a few weeks ago.

My controller should be here tomorrow so i’ll have a little time to fiddle with it, i would like it to be wifi, but BT is gonna have to be enough.

Controller arrived, yup looks just like the pic above 😂

Programing was a breeze, i’ll see how the timer works, interesting the time displayed on the unit is am/pm but the lites are 24hr. Im a gadget junkie so pairing and navigating the app is extremely simple, theres really only one page. It strikes me as an industry piece of gear, not sure why i feel that way, you can daisy chain a bunch of lites so maybe thats it

Im at 32ish DLI (12/12), the unit is at 50% I think this lite is very powerful. I think they can handle more light, but that means they increase nutes, and i’d rather back off the lite a bit and let them live a little healthier at this level

The controller only has one page, all i really wanted was variable lite output, the timer was an added bonus, so theres more stuff in my “extra stuff” box since i dont need a timer or a watt meter. Also the controller has a 24hr clock that has to be set using the controller keypad, once i did that the timer should be turning in and off by its self

My GG4 Has had a time with things, FIRST the thrips and now a very slow return to normal after some LST. My guess with the lights now on 12/12 the stretch mite help them straighten out.

With my confidence up a bit when it comes to pruning, im gonna let them stretch for a few weeks, at that time the little sucker branches will have to go, each grow i get a little bolder about pruning and defoliating, its scary cutting off branches😬

Hello Growers. Hope you are all happy and healthy.

The controler is working out just fine once i got the time set it worked just fine, she’s on 12/12 now. I have it set to 60% which gives me some solid PAR/DLI numbers.

Not sure what the stretch will be like but im gonna be getting the trellis net ready soon. For all intense purposes its still veg

Hello Growers of all kinds!

Im trying my damndest to get my tent dialed in.
1691205580045.png

During the day, the heat is a determining factor from the LED’s set higher for flower, so i set up a temp transition to keep it below 77°. At nighttime i set up a humidity transition because the humidity ramps up because the lights are off and theres nothing to burn off the
moisture …..this would make flowering a bit more fun, not worrying about heat or moisture

I think this may do it, its all about control :ganjamon:

When I try to control the day temps, VPD is all over the place. Instead, raise the daytime temps (up to 85f is fine) and control the RH. You should be able to control VPD better.
