The70's 3rd Grow!

The girls seem to be chuggin along, i raised the lite output which always raises the temp

I went back to my last couple journals and looks like thats where i end up temp wise. I may plunk down a couple bucks to get the GLC-1 lite controler, the detent lite dimmer is 40,60,80,100% which is fine, but to get more variation inbetween those outputs i have to raise and lower the lite physically, who knows? It also had sun up and sun down which i do with a timer so…….

They are not perfect, some crank up easier that others, if ya “help” em along by lifting inbetween turns of the knob, its really not a big deal, i love the damn things

Right now i have three distinctly different heights, not an issue….
 
Im in week 5 and not without issues, tonight they get sprayed again with Mammoth, soon to be neem oil and peppermint soap, once it arrives.

The Sour Diesel and White Widow are bouncing back from Thrip treatment and the droops from transplanting

Im gonna have to look back at my last grow to see if the tent was getting as warm as it is today, 82° seems a bit warm but all indications are it ok, the plants seem to be enjoying it, they are getting watered for the first time in almost a week, i just lift the pots and when light enough, i water 💦

I bet ya have to keep them well greased. Also, how about removing the knob and putting a drill chuck on the end?

I did exersize the movement, it helped, and greasing helped, but giving them a little lift inbetween knob turns works the best, also not starting at the bottom, open em up a couple turns helps a lot too☺️

Pricey but well worth it
 
These two products are in my arsenal now, 1.5teaspoons each in a quart of water

Impulse purchase at 7:30pm on a saturday night. The plants are bouncing back, at least 3 are, the 4th may just be a runt, but im moving forward !

The original product Mammoth was ok, got me here, but the Neem and Peppermint soap seem to be what i really wanted to have….

What a rally the girls have made ! Even the one GG4 is coming back ☺️ Watering has gotten interesting, the sour deisel and white widow, and one GG4 are about on par with each other as far as drinking, the runt GG4 is on her own, she drinks much slower….

I would measure with the front door of the tent open for DLI and noticed the measurements much lower than tent door closed, it was due to a lack of reflective surface, so i measure DLI with the door open enough to get my arm and phone in the tent canopy.
 
Morning growers, last night was a good spray down to clear up my thrip infestation. This morning was LST time for all (4) plants. Mostly just the two shoots out of the first topping. Here is where i started.

Here are some individual pics i took, its kinda hard to see the pulldowns. I let the topping shoots grow untouched because of the spraying and pest stress. It paid off
To let them grow, i only did 2 per plant.

WaterMelonZkittles is a better presser, im not weighing anymore, why bother, but Zkittles does well☺️

This little press is a monster, talk about something that does one thing perfectly and this is it ! I had no idea what rosin was going for on the street, yikes 😳 its some pricey stuff

I can only hope this healthy growth continues ! The LST is going well, the canopy is looking good, im going to do one last spray tonight as the two week cycle ends tonight.

I remember reading an old timer saying dont touch your plants… if you can, so many nasties on our hands.

Im gearing up for my next and last up-pot. I have to get more supplies.

Heading into wk7 from seeds:

Cleaned up some lower regions today, lower branches that in the past would have not amounted anything other than taking away from the canopy. I probably wont do it again til flower, when the hard decisions are made, what stays, what goes.

… and the GG4 still has bugs, gotta give em a shower tonight🙄

Hey Tok,

Best guess, 2-3wks, unless this last defoliation really puts a lot if energy in the canopy. Time’ll tell friend ✌🏽

On another note, i really got my dabs down pretty good, i just had a small one while im watering :bongrip:

Theres Nothing like tasting all the “good” in a bud, that little press is amazing
 
I will eventually get a press, just trying to justify the cost.

An you are right about the goodness.
