The70's 2nd Grow! 3 Strains, 3 Plants

Theyve had a good old trim there. should give the buds chance to really thrive. Good job man :thumb:

Thanx Man ✌🏽
They're set up nicely 70s! Good clean-up.

Are you still holding back on the light intensity?

Interesting question regarding lites. So right now im at about 35 DLI and Par is 800ish.
If i raise the power to 80% i will def have to raise the lite a little to dial in the DLI/Par so it isnt a crazy increase . I can remain where i am for now til they recover from the pruning, and kinda let them finishing their stretch and see where it is then….the lite is at 15”, if they are done stretching when they hit the 3wk point (wednesday) i can lower the lite a little to increase the DLI, i think i have options☺️

The more i read about the effects of too much lite and the power of the Fold8, i’d rather be conservative on the lite for now, maybe after a few grows i’ll ride the razors edge of enough lite and too much lite :ganjamon: Here they are thinned out, they look amazing:hookah:

I LOVE GROWING WEED !!!!!!!

More of the same☺️ we’re at the 3wk point and so far i think the stretch is all but over.
If this run is anything like my last, the applefritter looks just like my one pheno of Punchcake, which is an amazing smoke, especially curing for almost 3 months.

Lites on Humidity/Temp

Going into week 4 would you give them a little more lite ?????
Im at 60% and 13” from the tallest buds

Im using this chart:

its only 2days since the major defoliation and they are bouncing back in a great way. The AppleFritter is looking great, the lite is making its way into the canopy quite well, that was a great lesson to learn, do a week3 defoliation after the stretch 👍🏽

Here we are closing in on 4wks, looking healthy and happy. The AppleFritter is producing an impressive looking bud formation. Mac1 is the tallest with smaller buds. My guess is one size does not fit all, it may not be getting all its able to give due to conditions, all the reads tend to say its a difficult grow. WatermellonZkittkes is in the middle, but gaining weight nonetheless.

They are drinking about 2.5gal total between the three of them every 3days.

Par 850ish/dli 38ish 425watts/60%power/13”from highest buds. Daily temp77°/leaf temp 75° humidity 53%

Ok, Question…..

My lites are at 13” from the closest buds now. If you had this setup and wanted to raise the dli for the next phase of growth (wk4) would you:

1) Turn up the power to 80%, from 60% and raise the lites in height until they are producing the desired increased dli

2) lower the lite closer to the canopy, understanding i have 5more weeks of flower, with incremental power increases

Good morning from the fridged Great Lakes. Hope you all are well 🌞

I went ahead and physically raised the lites and cranked up the Fold8 to 80%

Stats:

Par 1050
Dli 45
Watts 589
LED Power 80%
25” from talkest bud

My guess with the new stats i will be watering every other day from this point forward and probably doing a top dress on wednesday. I use dry amendments so a wednesday top dress wont be available foid wise til a week later…….

PS: it took a minute for the lite to stabilize and i had to raise it up anothe 6” to 25” , the Par/dli both climbed once i close up the tent and the reflective surface were in the mix….😬 im unsure of where all the heat came from last grow, i have to go back and check out the oscillating fans if they were sbove or below the Fold8

Im still a little worried that 80% of this lite is too much. One thing im keeping an eye on is water consumption. Im reading about nutrient burn because the plant would be transpiring too much and an abnormal amount of nutrients are in the leaves, this is not hapenning. Im gonna do a top dress tomorrow which should be enough until the end of flower, as long as they are doing ok

Mixing up my top dressing dry amendments 5tbsp 284 Bloom, 1tbsp 444 all purpose just because there may be a need for nitrogen too and worm castings so the amendments have a medium to mix in

The Watermelon Zkittle seems either lite sensitive or nutrient deficient, but i lowered them in height, i simply took the blocks of lumber out from under them, the other two the Mac1 and the AppleFritter are doing fine, with AppleFritter being able to withstand some pretty intense lite.

I saw a youtube video on the guy who bread them, the AppleFritter strain
