Never really weighed the individual returns OG. It's usually so sticky I can't work with it. I doubt that a get a gram from a single squish though.

So, is it concidered “vaping” since ya gotta have a rig to smoke with and it doesn’t combust. I do know ya heat the “nail” and thats about it, no combustion……i think

On another note, i raised the lites a bit today physically , and increased the Fold-8 to 80%. Im in flower now so the day is shorter for them. So the dli is actually about where it was during vegge, as they stretch in the next three weeks their DLI will increase as they reach for the lite……i think

Yes, no burning veg matter. I use an electronic pen (wax pen).

There are all kinds of rigs available for heating the rosin all across the cost spectrum. Some high-end gadgets can cost in the neighborhood of $300.

The first one I got, and still often use to this day only cost me $19.95 at my local weed pipe shop.

You need a humidifier in flower? I just set my exhaust settings to the correct RH% (65% day / 60% night for beginning of flower) and the plants give me plenty of humidity. Of course, I'm in RDWC

For me I took my humidifier out at the start of flower and now im still in the ballpark of 55%-67% with good airflow, i guess its that time of year

My issue is the amount of heat the Fold8 generates along with the RH, the VPD is way off if the temp is 80-82° and the humidity is below 60%. Those numbers are for late flower….if my temps are 80° and RH around 65% thats about right for late vegge early Flower (on the average)
I thought its not just about humidity, but the combination temps and humidity that create the correct VPD…..

My basement is 45% RH

What are your temps and DLI, par, wattage, medium

My basement is 68-72f and around 40% RH with the dehumidifier running.

My DLI is around 50, that could be an issue. Im only at 80%, maybe take it back to 60% lower the DLI and the amount of heat, i thought for a 12hr “Lites On” time i needed my DLI higher

This lite is a beast, 60% is probably the sweet spot

@InTheShed just posted a good chart for photoperiod DLI on my thread here. Especially in early flower, too much DLI is a waste of money at best, and can actually be detrimental to growth at worst.

Thanx LKA just because an amplifier can put out 500watts doesnt mean i should use them all !!

Im not going to determine the lite by a knob, im gonna use my tools and advice given here.

Im at 35 DLI which means 60% on my dial. The tent cooled down a bit and is very manageable. Thank you

Thanx guys, i dialed back my lites, temps are fine, humidity is fine, my two important acronyms DLI and VPD are aligned and im on my way to a nice flower session.

They look very healthy and happy they must of got some nitrogen from the recent up-pot too, they’re back to deep greens again….

Here are some stats: Watts are at 427, DLI (12hr) is 33-35, temp 78°, humidity 62ish%, and they are drinking again, the 5gal pots are lightening up a bit, roots must be on the move, i wont water until tomorrow or monday, i’d like to get them into the swing of drying out in the bigger pots.

They are beginning to stretch, the Mac1 is leading the pac by a few inches, if she’s the tallest i’ll put her in the back to i can easily raise the other two so they all get the same lite intensity. They have plenty of room to stretch, even doubling height is no issue with my two inline fans on the outside of the tent now, and no filter because the vent outside through a newly installed 4” vent (who loves drilling 4” holes in their house)!!!

The breeze the (4) oscillating fans make is really nice, oscillating of course so as not to burn em.

It seems possible to get 30 DLI out of the Fold-8 with as little as 60%. Im in the first few days of flower. At that setting im consuming only 425watts…..
Does this sound about right ?

We are very close to the same stage; and yes, 425 sounds about right.
I am currently at 60 percent also.

This is where im at and everything is humming along nicely. I seemed to have been too caught up in what the dial on the fold8 was doing instead of the values, so here we go, the DLI mite be a little high, but im gonna leave it here and see how they respond.

The pots are lightening up day by day, my guess i might water tomorrow morning or afternoon. Fully watered 5gal pots are pretty heavy, so at this point they are close to being ready.

The gnat fly invasion seems to have come to an end, the plants seemed fine, but the little bastards were everywhere, now all stuck to sticky traps

all the numbers seem in place, plus or minus here and there.
