Goldie has been hanging out in the @VIVOSUN Auto Oasis under about 12-14DLI. If I was pushing her, she'd already be topped and ready for an uppot. She's draining her pot in 48 hours and is pushing out her 5th node.

I actually had the shears around her 5th node this morning before giving her a last-second reprieve. I'm in no hurry with her, and I'm not even sure where she's going to go. I can always top above the fourth node, why not let her keep growing for now? Her leaves still look too wide to be 100% Sativa, but she sure does look healthy.

Goldie II is still hanging out in there as well. If I'm not sure what to do with Goldie, then this girls days are probably numbered. She's still pretty small and doesn't look as healthy as her sister. Same fat leaves, though.

I'll put Goldie in a 3g cloth pot with some Geoflora veg soon, if for no other reason so that I don't need to water her as often. Then I'll find someplace to stash her for the next few months until it's time to take some clones.

They still don't look like 100% Sativa, though. I'm still trying to figure out where that leaves me with this grow...
Hey there LKABudMan those look very similar to my Col Gold from World of Seeds and I thought the same thing.
I've grown a few that tasted very reminiscent of the old school CG hi and close on the taste.
I can't remember what I had for dinner but I can remember a taste from 45 years ago.

look pretty close to yours

Thanks @Hash Hound that's really good to hear. And you're right, they do look very similar.

Goldie was DRY this morning, down to 156g. She was also droopy and wilted, only 48 hours after her last watering. I went ahead and up-potted her to a 3g cloth pot. This will probably be her forever home. When it's time I'll take clones for the RDWC, and then she will be... expendable.

I remembered to take pictures... but I forgot to amend the soil with Geoflora as I'd intended:oops:. She'll be fine for a little while in the new soil and I'll give her a Geoflora feeding the next time I water her. After all, I have plenty of time before I'll be taking clones for the RDWC.

She looked pretty sad going back into the tent, but only a couple of hours later looked much better.

Now I just need to find somewhere for her to go for the next couple of months...

Congrats on the upcan! I'm sure you'll find somewhere down there for a 3 gallon pot. :)

I had the same thought as HashHound. These were my Colombian Golds as youngsters (one turned out to be male):

It never got really long skinny leaves, but here it was on harvest day:

Thanks Shed. She'll kick around somewhere for the next couple of months. It looks like she's a keeper, though, because....

Thanks for this. Based on yours and @Hashhound examples I'll keep her for the next RDWC run. Clones are so much easier anyways ;)

It's been ten days since Goldie was put in her 3G cloth pot and watered. I forgot to amend her soil when uppotting, so 4 days after uppot I top-dressed her 1/3c of Geoflora veg. Since she was still plenty wet from her uppot, she's only gotten a little water since her uppot. She's still been growing well, but she has started to show some issues in her lower leaves.

Today she finally got her full watering. I also took off the lower leaves (cotyledons and lowest node leaves) that were browning and made it difficult to water her. While I was at it, I went ahead and topped her above the 7th node.

She's still just a mother for the next RDWC grow, so she'll be around for a while. I stuffed her in the newly emptied salad tent, as the tomatoes are being hardened off to be put outside soon. She'll hang out in this tent for a while, fighting with the peppers for room and probably getting fed and watered not nearly enough. All I need to do is keep her semi-healthy until I need to take clones, though. She really is a beautiful plant, I'm looking forward to having the Vivosun Bud Factory filled with her.

Goldie she's a fighter, looking glossy and pretty.
Thanks Dani
>time for salad harvest :p
Can you believe we both had salad last night from that top row? I just harvest the outside leaves and let the inside keep growing. I have to harvest each row within 6-8 weeks, though, or the roots overgrow the system. I have new lettuce sprouts getting ready to go into the empty rows in the next few days...

I love it. Cannabis and veggies the best combo inside the tent. And I bet they adore the Vivosun light too

Goldie has been hanging out in the salad tent for about a month. Watering has been sporadic and she's due for a feeding. She's gotten quite large, though. Too large for the salad tent, she's covering up lettuce. Time to give Goldie a trim!

I still have six weeks before I'll need clones from her, so I was pretty aggressive in her trimming. I topped everything, and cut most everything back near the stem. I also got rid of some inside leaves, most big fans, and any leaves that looked old/damaged.

I also cleaned up the salad tent floor while I was there. I've been starting seedlings in here for the outside garden and they are finally all outside.

Goldie will be much better off at this size. When she gets too big, she goes through nutes and water too quickly. At this size she'll be OK for a week without anything, which is good since she tends to get forgotten.

Goldie will be just fine with her trimming, these Sativas grow back unbelievably quick. Especially when they flower. CL🍀

Thanks CL. There's still enough cuttings on her now if I needed them. Unfortunately for Goldie, I'm not sure if she will ever see flower. She's a mother, destined to give up cuttings and then ???
Cleanliness is next to godliness.
I like to keep it clean to keep away any bugs, mold, or mildew.
Look I’m not sure if it is, but it’s what my Sunday School teacher told me before he put me in the bath to wash away my sin.

Lolllling!
Show that mutha who's boss!
She's a guest in the salad tent, after all. I can't have her covering up the lettuce.

Nice looking peppers and salad LKA :circle-of-love: ohhh and the weed too :blalol:
Thanks Dani I finally got the bottom row of salad planted last week, that's when I knew it was time to give Goldie a trim. The peppers are hardening off, they'll go outside permanently this weekend.
BTW, contratulations on GJOTM!

Exciting I got a couple of pepper going, just waiting to put the outside for good.
