The Sauga Ends Here

Your Weedsexpress girls are looking great! :thumb:

I especially love those "high contrast" shots you took. How about an education session on how you do that? ;)
Thanks Beez. I love the weedseeds and they may be my new go-to for quality genetics.
The shots are using soft box lighting against a black canvas. I then reduce the blacks from the photo to hi-lite the green without casting shadows. Hope that helps.

Oh MrSauga, your the best. Thanks for the write up! I actually learnt from it.My next question is say you have pistols coming from the top even though the flower looks like it's close to being finished how can you know or towel if the plant is producing seats. I have no idea why but in my plants sometimes I get a random plant with Seeds not a lot But enough to notice. How can you spot them because sometimes I catch it other times I think the plant is absolutely perfect and you break up a bud in their the seed. How can you spot that how can you stop it and I also know that certain strains are more prone to it that being said I still can't tell the warning signs even though I can tell when there's like a seed pod usually near the top, I'm not talking about those. I'm speaking of the ones that are like hidden in the bud

I do believe that's the plant ensuring its survival. If the plant is at a stage where it's in or outside the harvest window the plant may try and produce a seed to ensure that it's species survives. I may not have done the explanation any justice but there are other factors too that may be related to the environment.

How Does a Feminized Cannabis Plant Produce Seeds?
For you to be able to create a feminized seed, you must be able to induce male flowers in a female plant. There are two ways in doing this, its either you would put adequate stress to the feminized cannabis plant through light stress, mechanical or some environmental stress or to just let the cannabis plant to stay in the flowering stage by not changing the light hours. This process is quite complicated and dangerous because you might incur damage to your cannabis plant if done incorrectly that is why you need to have sufficient knowledge in doing this.

These stresses that you can impose to your cannabis plant just to produce seeds may lead to hermaphrodites, where your end result will not have a distinct quality of a male or a female. There is also a big chance of getting hermaphrodites as your end result if the process is not carried out correctly. The ideal way of producing feminized seed is through the alteration of the hormones of the cannabis plant through the use of inhibiting plant hormones to produce male flowers.

Hope that helps a bit.

I kinda knew that but thought I was missing something else. Thank you for explaining that :hugs: I think I must wait to long sometimes. I think Ineed to start counting days. Maybe I'll Write it on the pots when I flip them into flowers so I know which day they're at. Maybe I'll go buy one of those white wax pens that will show up on the black pots.

I don't think you're missing anything Momma. I've had the odd seed too and I'm quite happy to get it. I find it usually happens with healthy well producing plants. I've never seen them on my smaller producers.

I had some new arrivals today show up that I purchased from a Seeds Man on the street. Took 17 days to get here. Not too bad. The landraces from Pakistan are indicas and ones that I'm looking forward to running.

Score! Now, if I had made that order a few weeks ago like I intended.... I'd likely already have them too. :p

Nice additions to the collection! I'll bet it's a pretty big speck if you put it all in a spreadsheet. ;)
I do have an inventoried spreadsheet and each container has a list of what's in them. It's still tricky trying to find them in the container but at least I know they are there. Typically one of the last packs I check.

Sounds kind of like a fortune cookie translation of the info...

I knew I couldn’t be the only one tracking with a spreadsheet.

Jeez- You guys and your spreadsheets.......I just memorize my seeds- and I could probably even name all 4 of them if I had to... ;)

Hey HH! Your pls td are too.
:thanks:
Lol, I have a bandaid on my thumb and it’s really complicating my life. It’s my typing and lighter lighting thumb. :( I’m thinking of starting a gofundme.
