The Sauga Ends Here

Hello Mr S. Are the effects of DDA as good as it looks? Very nice. Don't be surprised if birdie comes back in the spring with a family. Lol! Good karma! Stay safe and stay stoned

Hello Mr S. Are the effects of DDA as good as it looks?
This was a freebie seed through a purchase promo so I never knew what to expect. To me it provides a good overall body buzz. Doesn't seem to slow me down when I'm working, but when I lay on the couch after a day of work it can knock me out in seconds. So it works both ways for me, but then I can drink a gallon of coffee and fall asleep within minutes.

Oof. I'll have to make sure I go away before they show up. If the family learns what I taught him the bird world is in for some real fun. Honestly I think the bird union got to him first and took care of him... Jimmy Hoffa like.
One day he flew in with a couple of other birds in tow. They landed on the lawn and when he flew over to me the other two birds squawked loud and flew into a nearby tree. I think they all thought he was nuts.

Beautiful sunflower btw

*out of breath* I made it! Little late but ive caught up. and for show suggestions I didn't see anyone throw out Snowfall it's on Hulu one of my favorite shows, saw someone suggested Vikings which is another top tier suggestion another of my favorites.
Hope you all are doing well and your little plant babies are happy.

Welcome aboard BT! Never heard of it, but if P9 swears by it then it must be top notch. Thanks for the tip. :high-five:

Hey Sauga! Trying to make some rounds and catch up! I’ve been so busy lately ive barely had the time to tend to the garden lol
Seems to be a lot of that going around, including myself. I've been dealing with a STD problem now for the last few days. It seems just when I want to get going the sun comes out and prevents me from dipping my brush. Oh, STD is Staining The Deck for those who thought otherwise.
Stay well Dutch.

Since I'm having a hard time keeping up with journals I'd like to recognize @cr8grow for an amazing plant in June that won him Plant of the Month. Bravo and well done. Congrats go out to @bluter as well for July's Journal of the Month. Nicely done bluter. Last but not least, great Photo of the Month @Homer Simpson. Beautifully done.

So as promised here's a few pics of the DDA which came down about two weeks ago or so. Not the best pics but you'll get the jest of it. She dried rather quick in the fridge which caught me off guard and I'm assuming it had to do with the airy texture within all the buds. I do roll her up in RAW papers and the purple hues really mix great with the paper color so given that it bumped up the overall rating to 7.8 out of 10 :)

Here's a couple of pics of a baby bird I found abandoned... I think. I waited most of the day before taking her home since there was no sign of a mother coming around. Keep in mind that the below photos are after about 4 weeks. I found her when she was just starting to grow her feathers.
As VG mentioned they do get very demanding and I tried to teach her how to search for food by walking around the yard as she followed along. Slowly the bird started to realize what it had to do but never really knew what it was looking for. The stage she's at in the pics she was eating on her own but not enough so I dropped soft dog kibble down in the yard and she would hunt for that.
As of now she either flew off or died. She came for a morning feeding and has never been seen since. The bird was comfortable enough to walk in the patio door if it was open, but the dog was not so keen on that so it's possible her instincts were never perfected. Anyhow I think it was a grey catbird. Fly birdie fly wherever you are.

Add me to that list too. Quick reads, but discussion time is short and random. Comment here and there as I can.
