Oh my, nobody hugs me. That threw me off. No sense in making fun of my stupidity though. I would never make fun of your seven toes or research department.

Hey everybody!
It's been a few days since my last update here, so here we go.

I started a summer grow of two plants, both Northern Lights from Dope Seeds. They were started indoors in early April and sent to the great outdoors just before the Canada May 24 weekend. Both were suppose to run out their life in 5gal fabric pots, without grommets, but a week ago we had a good little storm that tipped one plant over onto the other.
Some damage was done to a branch but nothing that would have been noticed once removed. At the time, I was feeding them 8L of mix each day which consisted of 6g of MC / 4L of water. There wasn't much time once I got home from work to make sure they got their drink. The pots were drying out that quickly, and when the wind came by, well it just didn't take much to tip her over. At 7' the plant became top heavy and the rest was inevitable.

I moved them to 7gal pots the following day which I did by simply separating the 5gal pot into two pieces. Slicing the bottom around the diameter of the pot, then slicing up the side from bottom to top. This allowed me to peel of the side and remove the bottom. The soil was so compact that it easily dropped into the 7gal home. Some fresh OF to fill in the sides and the top and they were good to go. They never skipped a beat and both now have a solid base and can retain more moisture.

On another note, my Carolina Reaper plant did quite well this summer. I must have 40 peppers on it.

Okay, it happened, and it happens to be an amazing pair of plants, tiny fish or no. They'll be even happier in the new pots, but if you hadn't let the deck railings rot you could tie them up in anticipation of the next windy day. Not sure that even a 7 gallon base will keep those trees upright.

I've got to give credit where it's due. Kudos to you for being able to grow such monsters in your sleep. :yummy:

The trees were holding the railings up, fwiw. Then when the tree came down I figured it was time to release the deck. My wife seems to think the 7gals will tip too, but it has a wider base and taller profile and as long as they keep fairly moist I should be OK.

Yes sir, and real! Not like those fake ones I see in some other grows I follow. Speaking of which, is there a way to follow more people than just you? I'm asking for a friend.

Hello Professor! Sauces want no part of those peppers. I have no idea what to do with them all. I'm at approx 40 peppers from the one plant I grew. I fed her the infamous v1 MC at 6g now. Maybe i can pass them off as cherry tomatoes and give them to my friends.
