OMG smokey I do that all the time. I call it Candycane and it's Candyland. The post said Candycane, and the pics are labeled Candyland. I was covering all the bases that time.

You can, but you are unlikely to get the full benefit of topping at this stage, IMO.

If you want to expose more sites, LST might be a better alternative?
 
if it's and auto and going already just hang on and take what you get.
