The Sauga Ends Here

Looking good in there MrS! Curious If the plant having light issues is at the same g/gal of MC as the others? :thanks:

Yup, even while under the old LED's. It's hard to overfeed plants with MC early in their life. The symptoms normally show up later on. I have some pics up today, and they are doing much better now. :high-five:

I’m curious about your comment MrSauga, you said last journal at the magazine, may I ask - what‘s up with that?
Sure can 013! Here's a link describing what I mean. :)

Finally got around to getting the NextLight Mega installed. It's running at 30K lux at the top of the canopy which is 48" below. I have to thank a Bootiful friend for helping me out in getting it up here. They do ship to Canada, but there were other reasons why I went the route I did. It's a great light, and although it never came with the dimmer as promised, the fine folks at NextLight are sending me one out at no charge. Something slipped through the cracks but it's all good now.

MrSauga...looks like a few shots from the space station. I would put a lawn chair in there in a month or two. Actually cant complain with a record mild front here on the third coast.

Hey everybody!
An update on the Candyland's. They had a hard time adjusting to the new light after their transplant. They were a little more sensitive to the light than the Kalashnikovs. Candyland 1 had her tips bleach out a bit, although it's hard to see in the pics. Candyland 2 never perked up. Today she's looking a little better so I think she's starting to learn to live with the power of a Mega light.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

MrS, I'm loving the picture frames and the pics within them.

I have a question for you as a new mega users. I have a photo growing in a 2x2 tent under a Mars Hydro TS 1000 that contains 342 leds, pulls 150 watts and has a 2x2 flower footprint. I'm thinking of moving her to a tent with a Spider Farmer SF 4000 that contains 1,212 leds, pulls 450 watts and has a 5x5 flower footprint.

The plant is 17 days post-flip, so much bigger than your babies. Still, the issues some of your plants had with the new light concerns me. Any thoughts?

BTW, nice rocks! :Rasta:

I think any time a plant is moved to a new type of light they will be stunted. The only tip I can give is to put the light up as high as you can get it then work your way down. If you have a dimmer that would be the best option.

Hey everybody!
So a little training done on the one Candyland. The second one is looking better and she should be back to a normal state by tomorrow. Have a great week everyone.

:rasta:
nice one sauga!!

Really? Well, unless someone has a different opinion, I ain't doing it!

Thanks, MrS. :Rasta:

i go from 120w 5600k led light bulb that is set on 24h to Mars-hydro lights.
i work them into it. I'm sure like sauga mentioned they would get some sort of shock, but with the adjustable intensity and high they seem fine to me and they end of being just awesome! There are other good lights like budget led's, next light and such

PK, I have two lights that can be dimmed. But when I dim them they don't look any less-bright to me. Maybe I'm light-blind! :Rasta:

Nice start to the Candyland quad! Maybe you should teach VG how to do that.
Thanks Shed, and no thanks Shed!

lol, again with a dimmer and set at max height you may be OK, but you grow those fussy little autos so I wouldn't chance any environmental change. Start from seedling and let them get a good tan instead of one of those sudden orange things that happen to weird people.

or you've got the connections wrong.

The TS1000 is the main light which gets the main adjustable control. I've got the cable thats provided with your light on input 2 and it goes to the 1st input of the other light which in my case is sp3000.
Ts1000 second switch which is fulbright should be off

The SP3000 both switches are on and intensity on 100%. This setting goes forward for additional lights.

Enjoy adjusting the brightness with TS1000. I think this setting goes for all the adjustable lights not just mars-hydro.

MrS, obviously you were reading through the haze of something you've grown. Does this change your answer? The plant is a Cosmic Lights. :Rasta:

Now why did you do that? LOL, you get used to a certain pattern and reading photo was interpreted as an auto. 🧀
I dunno. She's 17 days into the stretch. I'd wait a week if you're going to do it, but personally I'd hold off.
