The Quest For A Kilo

Hey guys this is totally off subject but I see that you were online a minute ago and I'm new to growing can I post a pic of my plant and can you maybe diagnose the problem ??

For sure  I did LST for my plants but looked more like a 50 shades of green bondage, too many strings made it difficult to water properly. Do you still use the screen or are you only sticking to supercropping and lst?

Pat's Mars Hydro II 700W Grow

Pat's Small CFL Grow

I know the feeling, the first couple of big plants I grew there was more string than branches in some places, every little bit of growth was tied down.

The screen is probably going to get used this time during stretch to keep the middle of the plant from shooting up higher than the sides. I've been lucky enough that this plant has been quite well behaved and kept a relatively even canopy with mainly lst and a small amount of supercropping on the middle growth.

That may all change by next week though :):)

Put it like this It wasn't like that last night this morning boom saggy titty leaf but I'm pretty sure I over watered I mean that's the only thing I can think of so does that mean it's going to die or what?

2Tru... Let it dry out until the first few inches of soil. She'll perk up in a couple of days. Those terracotta pots can be problematic as they absorb water, have poor drainage and airflow.

Ok, so to make sure this doesn't happen again just slow the watering down, and one last question I was told to wait till the leaves are the diameter of the pot to transplant is that true or should I do it now?

For transplanting, that's totally up to you, but you don't want to go to early.

I usually wait until roots poke out the bottom of the pot then give them another week before transplant.

You will know when it's time just by how often you have to water. More regular watering = a plant that's starting to outgrow the pot.

Lovely little plant :)

Thanks man I actually just transplanted and I don't think it was time I lost a bunch of roots like I mean it was bad hopefully she can come back from it just have to wait and see I guess

Hey pal, same happened to me once. Ensure the medium is watered before and your less likely to have that happen again. The medium should hold it's own shape it would only break apart if it was dry or badly handled. Unless your at 80% perlite or similar.

Loving the journal Mono. Good stuff :thanks:

I'm having the same vision in mind. Started with clones and flowered 1 at a time. Got my chops down so now I'm trying to get the biggest yield with a harvest every 2-3 weeks as I just increased my growspace and can flower a few plants at a time. Strain right now I've got what I'm calling a tangerine Kush from bagseed. Grew the original mother back in the summer and have an awesome clone army now!! This one has about two weeks left.. And she looks mighty fine!!! Smoke from these plants is relaxing and very much an strong indica, it is very citrusy.. Pretty much tangerine!

Sounds like you have set up a very productive perpetual garden kshdmn!

Well, update time about a day later than planned.

The flowering tent is going through the motions. Currently watering (feeding) daily at 1/3 strength canna A and B.

And in the veg tent we are growing low and wide at the moment. She is close to 3ft square so I'm happy she will fill the 4x4 tent during flip. With another 10 days of veg to go I'm going to let her put on some height for a coupe more days before a quick trim and training session. Then it's all systems go for flowering.
