The Quadsquad Thread: A Community For Quadlining

As you should be ase. you have awakened the four armed beasts for many interested in this method. As said by many , many times, this thread is the bollocks for us to be a part of. seeing the amazing results and mishaps as they happen is a breath of fresh air mate. Following "how to" vids is great but doesnt compare to the responses and possible support in comparison. Your pics of your ladies at the beginning of the thread are genuinely inspirational Ase. I WANT THEM !!!!.Lol. Dutchman1990 has also shown some amazing skills and technique that are repeatable by growers here. The fact it is such a live thread is testament to your vision Gents . Thank you
Thanks for the love GG! If it wasn’t for Ase I would of never found This training method which has now taken over my grows haha! Quadline is the way to go!!

couldnt agree more Dutch. i did mainlines in the past and loved the structure but quads are killing it for method for me. I am doing a sponsored fast buds auto run next and hope i can achieve the quads in time but will be going in 20L fabric pots . These 27ltr take an age to fill to the edge of and cramp the footprint of the lights a little too much too.

Been busy defoliating for the flip. took these yesterday after i finished. Opened the tent and it looks as if i have done nothing again now. their recovery and growth is crazy fast it seems.
Gave them a pre-flowering gh trio feed to kickstart them on sunday when flipped.

Straight after the session

so much airflow now between their branches. They have replaced and grown out so much leaf in the last 12 hours and now need another defol after the stretch.

i like how brave you are cleaning them up lol

im scared to get carried away and never know what to take what not lol
wanted to improve rhat this run as i had some larfy stuff under the canopy last run, should have cleaned a little more up pre stretch. mine look like i hardly touched em compared to yours haha

took that mid training lol maybe another week or so and il chuck her in the flower room.

Beautiful plant!...man ,she's a branchy thing-gonna have sooo many buds !
aye she took a while to get going but is taking nice shape now

just hope she is a she hehe
should be able to work out the strain when shes done though from the grades weve had over the past few months.

Here's what my quads have been up to-not too much,really-things are just getting fatter instead of taller-I'm kind of surprised that I'm not going to have to make my box taller-the Northern Lights stopped stretching at 16",and the Peyote Critical stopped at 18"
(they started at 6" & 7")

You may notice a few wires in there, they're pulling buds out of the way of other buds on the NL-the PC 's canopy is so crowded that there's nowhere to move anything to,so the ties on her are pulling the main buds out of the way of everything else...

Here's a NL bud-slowly getting frosty...

The PC is way ahead in the frost dep't.

I didn't take them out of the box for pics today-they come out fairly easily, but getting them back in is becoming a challenge to not break stuff off...

So that's where my quads are at today-I'm hooked on quadlining-I'm going to do a late in the season outdoor quad if one of the free "Seedsman Cheese" seeds ever pops-It's looking like seed #2 (of 3) is a dud also...so no mystery why they were free...
So I'll update again in a week or so-Keep up the good work, everyone your quads are all looking beautiful-best process ever for maximizing yield, especially in a restricted space:peace:

I've been down that road recently-Best of luck to you!
i had 5/5 bag seeds all female my first grow, 2 were auto bag seeds, turned out fem but needed force flower lol
the other 3 photos were all girls lol lucky.
i have a good feeling for subs too.

I lolliepoped and defoliated the soil plant last night. Hopefully get to the dwc plant tonight. Plenty of good bud sites, love the quad line method :green_heart:

It is surprising how much they can regrow and also the small leaves that get left , grow so quickly into bigger ones , you have to do it all again .lol Dont be scared to try one stripped back , We give them all their light needs and the fan leaves are mainly to catch any available sunshine among the other competition for light, in their natural environment. We dont give them a natural environment with competitors for light. They do also convert chlorophyll etc.. but so do the small leaves. I dont touch them after about week 4 flower besides tucking. They stop leaf production after week 3.

Man, Fucking sweet... Good Green Morning Ase, and all my friends on this thread... What a perfect find for me this morning.. I am in the Process of showing/teaching my BIL the art of quading.. It is hard to show a noob the end results without actually doing the work.. It is quite a bit of work, but as all the great growers on this thread have shown, IT IS WORTH it.. I will most assuredly post some pics later on my thread and here... Glad I found this one... Thanks guys and gals, this is really gonna help.. What a wonderful idea for a thread.... Green days to all

Green Day’s to you as well Hack. Glad to have you here with us!

Here is a pic I snapped last night of the big BLack Cherry O’s guys!

Quick question for you all. About how long after you cut off nodes 1 and 2 and top it, do you start using the tie downs?

When ever the little branches are long enough to tie down. Start with the ones at node 4. You will let the ones at node 3 catch up to the canopy before you mess with those.
