The Perpetual Healing Garden - SweetSue's Joyful Return

New Mexico is beautiful. I used to live there. Speaking of beautiful... Your garden is looking lovely Sue

It's the light in New Mexico that would be the draw for me. It's an artist's dream. There's something perfect about it.

Thank you Noob.

That's what I have done with the big tops, plop them down in soil alongside another plant. At some point later they need to be transplanted. It seems that when 2 plants share a pot, one plant doesn't get a fair shake at the nutrients in the soil.

I beg to differ Radogast. My grows consist of two 26 gal. pots with two plants in each pot. Works for me !Cheers brotha!:thumb:

Rad grows in smaller pots Duggan. :laughtwo: However, B A R's had some interesting results with multiple plants in small pots and he found that two in a very small root space didn't effect yield as much as you'd expect.

Two bed one bath house $550-650. 'The Land of Tomorrow.' New Mexico is calling you.

Sue you, have some seriously good things going, on your threads, in your tents and with your life.

Best :green_heart:

Last summer I helped a friend get a grow started. Tonight he split an order of seeds with me. The two stand outs are Super Lemon Haze Auto and Ghost Train. I have been wanting to try an auto and Ghost Train..........well,,,I never know

Canyon, it's always such a delight to find you here. I have my eye on Colorado, to be honest. You have no idea how much good cascaded into my life recently. Life is definately sweeter by the day. Starting the Study Hall thread was akin to waking up. It's only been a week and I'm still figuring out how to hone my study habits, but the excitement level in my life went up significantly when I started dedicating time to data searches and study and it's beginning to have some very positive effects in my personal life.

It's like I was meant to do this. I have to keep reminding myself that I don't get paid for this, so it's ok to walk away and play every now and then. :laughtwo:

Ya, my reasoning behind such large pots as apposed to four smaller ones is ...all four plants have 26 gal's of soil to draw from , not just 10 or whatever in a smaller pot.Cheers to ya's today. Oh ya....my new Kosher Kush thread is up SS. Can you help me spread the word? cheers eh!

Already started. Most of the guys will be there before I post anyway. :laughtwo:

For anyone here interested - and that should be all of you :laughtwo: - Duggan has started his latest grow. He runs one of the more exciting grows on site IMHO. Here's the link.

duggan does Kosher Kush with DBHBB -4 plants - two pots, lots of leds!

I visited New Mexico for 2-4 weeks at a time for about a decade. A land of enchantment.

New Mexico and Arizona both have mountains that show green, gold, purple and yellow in the same hour. The light is different.

26 gallons isn't a pot - it's a planter bed ! :)

Amended: In 5-7 gallon pots, beware of running older mothers and young daughters in the same pot. The little girl rarely gets a fair shake competing for light. Personally, I suspect they benefit from sharing a soil community.

Daily Update: Day 52 & 54

Maintenance notes:

- CBD Critical Cure got a TransWater drench.
- All the auto girls got another application of the agitating essential oil foliar.
- I topped off the SWICK reservoirs.
- The photo tent dwellers got their daily spin under the light.

Let's take a stroll, shall we?

Obviously time for that drench.

I think the canopy's coming along quite nicely. :blunt:

Auto Jack Herer. No signs of any trichome development yet, but plenty of buds building up.

Ahhh..... Dark Devil Auto (Day 52) My beauty. She's definately taking center stage on this grow. I think she'd do that on any grow. My next one will surpass this.

That's the girls today. Thanks for stopping by to enjoy them. Back to study mode now. No! I think a walk is in order. I've determined there must be a time in every day when I get out of the apartment and go walking, for one purpose or another. It's almost 5 PM now and I haven't done so yet. The time is now. :laughtwo: Then study mode for the remainder of the day.

I'll be seeing you around here and there. Don't get out as much as I used to, but the work calls and I can't ignore it, so I guess we all need to adapt for a while. I sat back and objectively looked at where this Study Hall project is heading, and I don't see any chance of my life slowing down again for a few years. That's a good thing. I feel blessed to have discovered a passion to keep my mind young and sharp.

Get out out there with me and spread that joy around. Let's light the cosmos up with love. :battingeyelashes:green_heart:

:Namaste:

Sue, Bluejay and CC are back in the city, look into no-till gardening: revisited. New names, same guys, lots of reading.

Thank you 36. Those guys keep switching themselves on and off. I'll go looking for them.

I was wondering about the essential oil foliar and whether it was even necessary in High Brix. My thought was that hydrolyzed fish lysate in an acidic foliar spray (brix) was probably accomplishing much the same thing. What do you think? I thought maybe that was one of DocBuds kit's hidden benefits.

I'm not using the oils on the HB plants Shiggity, for that very reason. The kit doesn't need any messing with. Your snowstorm plants are proof of that. :laughtwo:

incredible looking stuff! is it really as black as it appears? looks like a mutant spider coming to inject its THC!!

Yes indeed, they're almost black on this one. It surprised me. I was expecting deep purple, but not to this level. One of my last ones was a rich, deep purple, but this one..... Whoa!

Look at the trichomes developing! I'm using a very diluted essential oil foliar application to encourage more trichomes. Only two applications in, but it runs every three days through harvest, so I'm hoping for a spectacular show.

This was my largest DDA from the last grow. The one I'm growing now is much darker than this one was. Amazing.
